Whilst scanning the blogs, which has become my main morning habit along with a ginormous cup of tea and a bowl of wheetos (Oooooohhh Wheetos! Chocolate goodness in every crunchy bite!) I came across this little gem slcheaplifeformen. Now obviously the writer, Raven Mondschein, is trying to accomplish the same feat that Fabulously Free in Second Life has already achieved, but he’s concentrating all his efforts into seeking out the very best freebie and dollarbie goodies for male avatars. He’s not doing a bad job at all. He’s only been writing the blog since the 7th of May, and he’s gone from being your usual bog standard noobie male avi to one that looks pretty darn good indeed! I know Second Life blogs are ten a penny, but it’s always nice to give newcomers some support, so welcome to the fold Raven! I shall be checking you out on a regular basis, and passing your hints on to Jez and my Dad, LeapyLee, especially. Best of luck!

New at Earthstones…
..are some truly wonderful crystal charm sets. Each features a scrumptiously detailed crystal drop pendant with matching earrings. The sets retail at a very reasonable L$399 per set, and each feature crystals picked for their positive traits, eg for creativity is the most beautiful Labradorite pendant, which I’m actually not wearing here….amazing when you consider that it is my favourite stone! (I guess today I felt a need for green:) I got chatting to store owner and uber creator Abraxxa Anatine and she told me that she’s going to be having a Rezday party tomorrow, Friday May 30, between 7pm-11pm SLT. It promises to be spectacular, as there’re performances from Dann Numbers, Maximillion Kleene, SRV4U Conacher and Luigi DiPrima. As if that’s not enough, there will be freebies a-plenty too! Non-Sl Related…A note for the SATC publicity gurus…
A minor rant..but a rant all the same.
‘Sex And The City’ movie-marketing-people – If you’re going to feature a fictional website in a movie, you have to realise that people will try and visit that website when they got home, just to see if it’s really there. Embrace this- it’s good publicity for your movie after all, so use the opportunity to your advantage, don’t sabotage it! With that in mind, can someone please tell the creators of Carriebradshaw.com to a) use a spellchecker (in one article the word ‘perfect’ is spelled as ‘prefect’ numerous times and it is VERY ANNOYING!) and b) at least try and include different articles, not just copy the same articles onto subsequent pages. It’s very disappointing, because you just know that Carrie would not stand for such a thing….
Anyway, crass attempt at weaving SL into this post… Second Life fashion designers, any ‘Sex and the City’ inspired clobber coming our way???
