Freebie Mesh Goodness from Jane and Cold Logic

Freebie Mesh Goodness from Jane and Cold Logic

So, any luck getting into March Mesh Madness 2012?  Nah, me neither..which is doing my ‘ead in a wee bit because it features twenty, yes, TWENTY (drool!) of the finest mesh magic-makers on the grid today and promises to be an absolute joy to behold. If I could only blinking well get in. Each time I try the region is full, and I fear it’s going to remain that way all weekend.  It won’t help you in your suffering if I tell you that there promises to be a vast array of mesh only hair, shoes, accessories, clothing, and home furnishings on sale; but I can offer you a wee smidgen of comfort in some fine freebies that are currently doing the rounds.

First up, Jane has sent out this glorious frock to her subscribo group members. It’s called ‘Grace’ and is a beautifully simple frock that you can accessorise into splendidity! ( I think I just made a word up there; go me!). Think scarves, jackets, leggings; the possibilities for dressing up this baby are endless, and Janie Marlowe has been even more generous by sending three colours of the gift to members; Apricot, Khaki and Navy, so there’s a colour scheme to fit every occasion.  I chose navy to illustrate how fab this gift is:

Lush isn’t it? And as if that isn’t enough to moisten yourself over, well you remember the freebie I mentioned was available at Cold Logic? It’s a winter dress, and it’s rather glorious as you can see below:

Again, you get three colours in your gift; Stone, Ruby and Clay. I’m feeling a tad fiery so I just went for the Ruby shade, and it’s lovely isn’t it?

Last up, I also mentioned earlier that there’s a hunt taking place in the Cold Logic store, and the gift is easy to find and well worth your time too.  It’s a spiffing top with fabulous shaping to the neckline, waist and cuffs.

I love how the creasing gives it a real authentic flair..great isn’t it? And again, you get three shades in your gift; black, red and navy. So, there you have it, more than enough treasures to keep you going until you can get into March Mesh Madness! (I wouldn’t bother at the moment though, I’ve just checked the map again..green dot city.  BAH HUMBUG!)

Note: I’m going to try and NOT blog Jane and Cold Logic for at least a few days now..I seem to have become a tad obsessed!

Philly’s Bar GRAND OPENING on Saturday 3rd March!!

Philly’s Bar GRAND OPENING on Saturday 3rd March!!

I miss the Three Lions; the first pub I ever visited in Second Life.  I’ve talked about 3L many, many times on these pages, but it was home to some amazing people that I have become lucky enough to call friends. I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently; wondering if the reason I haven’t been frequenting SL so much these days is because Three Lions, and subsequently The Crown and Pearl, aren’t around anymore, and then I discovered Phil Plasma is opening a bar again and I could have jumped for virtual joy!  If that’s not fate then I don’t know what is!

That’s right, the original team behind the Three Lions is back, and the opening party is this Saturday. The best bit is that it’s going to feature some of the original DJ line-up, as well as live acts and this weekend promises to be a corker. Thumper Boucher, who I always threw my panties at back in the day is the first live guest and he is awesome.  He’s one of the most accomplished musicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing in-world and his gigs are nothing short of splendid, so if you’re free on Saturday YOU MUST come to the grand opening night at Philly’s Bar in Knightsbridge.

It promises to be a packed evening as well: The fun begins at 3am with Mia Deluca, followed by Arti Yamabushi. Following Arti is the original 3L barmaid and the first Neko I ever saw in Second Life, the yummy Kendra Fallon. At 1pm Thumper ( and my underwear) hits the stage, and the evening is brought to a close (probably a riotous one as well) by the infamous Mike Mission. Will he pass out drunk at the decks? I ruddy well hope so:))

I honestly cannot tell you how excited I am about the opening of this bar and so look forward to spending some time with old friends, and new. Come along and join the fun, it promises to be amazeballs!

Loving the ‘Cohen’ Jumpsuit from Cold Logic…

Loving the ‘Cohen’ Jumpsuit from Cold Logic…

…fits like a *dream*.  One of the problems with Mesh, as I’m sure readers are aware, is the faff of fitting.  All this rigged and unrigged nonsense and wearing alpha layers; does my nut in. But when results are *this* good it is so, so worth it. In fact I just slipped the medium size on and it fitted me perfectly, and I am in no way a skinny av! Doesn’t it look bloody fantastic? I can’t tell you how impressed I am with Cold Logic, in fact it’s going to become a favourite store of mine, I can just tell.  Prices are on the high side though, BUT I think with Mesh being relatively new still we’re bound to see that.  This jumpsuit is L$425. It comes with two belt colours (I’ve gone for the platinum styling here) and of course there’s a range of fits in the box. As always, DEMO DEMO DEMO. You have *no* excuse not to, and besides, it’s part of the fun:) I’ve teamed the jumpsuit with a Miel necklace I found during a rummage session, and some funky hair from Dura. I love this jumpsuit; I love everything about this store and it practically makes me damp with excitement (Too much info? I care not a jot!)

Note there’s a hunt in store at the moment ( in fact you can almost see the hunt item’s whereabouts in this picture; no it’s not on the board that’s too obvious..durrr) It’s also very busy..but that’s possibly because people can’t get into the Mesh expo that’s going on at the moment…oh yes, MOAR MESH!!!  Anyway, here’s your Taxi to Cold Logic, enjoy the ride!

Mesh marvellousness at Cold Logic.

Mesh marvellousness at Cold Logic.

It’s a long time since I’ve been in a store that’s excited me as much as this one has. (OK, all of five minutes but you get the point!)

Cold Logic is a women’s mesh store featuring designs by a veritable Second Life Dream team of Damien Fate, Janie Marlowe and Zyrra Falcone. The store features nothing but the finest in mesh designs, and oh my gods this is a game changer. Seriously, the clothing is stunning.

Essential tops, jumpers, skirts, trousers, dresses and coats; all beautifully designed and featuring stunning colour combinations. It’s mouthwatering mesh fashion at its finest..

This is the ‘Quantum’ dress. Bold colours, striking design and classic styling make this an essential addition to the virtual fashionista’s wardrobe..and it’s a steal at L$350 (fatpack featuring four dresses just L$900)

Plus if you hit the subscribo you get a lovely freebie frock for your trouble!
