Even though we’re all running around the grid in santa hats, and with most areas festooned with trees and jolly santas to sit on ( ahem!) we should still remember that like RLnot every SL patron celebrates Christmas. However, this doesn’t mean missing out on gratuitous freebige! (More joy for us then!) In the spirit of Hanukkah ‘Style your Destiny’ are being kind enough to give us freebies hidden away in dreidels. Shalom!

Tis the season to wear RED
Ivalde have done it again with todays freebie which is this rather special red frock:) Also, check out the free Peridot jewellery from Second Mirage today because it is just *perfect*! I hope you’re still persevering and chasing the freebies, I’ve missed 3 days worth:( Am rapidly establishing a large jewellery collection though as a result of the generosity of all the designers involved. Oh, and the hair is free from Maitreya. ( Check out ‘Fabulously Free in SL’ as Cherlindrea has posted all about it)

Monday Moan
Before you get alarmed, I’m featuring the hilarious WoW commercials on my Vodpod purely because they are exceptionally funny commercials. I don’t play WoW, Jez does…BUT I think these ads are absolutely spot on. Why on earth Blizzard feel the need to advertise is beyond me because we all know how successful WoW is. (Oh yes, how I know that to be true, living with the uber-goblin twatter that my beloved Jez is.) SL is a mere speck of dust on WoW’s hairy left bicep by comparison. It shouldn’t be though, especially when you consider the opportunities that SL offers to us all. It could and should be so much more than what it currently is..and it really annoys the hell out of me that the potential it offers isn’t being exploited. I truly hope that 2008 will see Linden Labs finally start to address the issues that concern all of us who spend a lot of time on grid, such as the technical glitches that have for some become daily occurrences. We need to keep pushing the Lab hard to fix the problems, and to get their bloody priorities right. For example, I’ve heard that next year they are going to be working on enhancing the voice features-why make this a priority? I’ve been to very few places that use voice, and I get around a bit! (NOT in that way you bugger!) Stuff enhancing voice or doing anything arty farty Linden Labs, fix the core issues first, and once you’ve done that THEN we can have all the frilly accessories and upgrades.
Festive freebie Happiness:)
Here’s me in a compilation of todays festive fabness. The only things I’m wearing that were not free are my shape, skin and hair, all the rest including my eyeballs were freebies. Also, I’m using a face-light to eradicate shadow- this can be got for free ( under the xmas tree) at MK. I really cannot be without a face light, as shadow is so unflattering. Seriously though, it does help you no end when you are taking piccies:) To recap, jeans are free today from Ibizzare, the jumper from Wrong and the earrings are from Second Mirage. Go now and make yourself happy!
