So, as I blogged when I got back from Amsterdam, I’ve opened an office in Angel Square! It was never my intention to have an office, but this was one of those occasions where fate intervenes…let me explain.
There I was, having multiple virtual orgasms in Canimal (at the clothes, durrr-wasn’t doing anything remotely fruity!) when I bumped into my mate from the Crown & Pearl, Bailey Longcloth. Above her bonce was festooned the logo, ‘Angel Square Owner’, so me being a nosey sod said, ‘What’s Angel Square?’ Turns out Bailey has invested in her own sim featuring quality shops and residences. So, as I was mooching around the grid doing nothing in particular I decided to go and have a looksy, liked what I saw and the as the thought occurred to me that an in-world office would be perfect to drum up interest in this blog I found myself depositing the lindens required:) It’s perfect for interviewing peeps, and you can leave me messages there should you so wish. It also avoids me having people turn up at my in-world home uninvited. Not that you wouldn’t be welcome necessarily, but I think it’s a tad more professional to have my own workspace in world. ALSO to make it even more perfect ‘The Crown & Pearl’ has moved onto Bailey’s sim and is literally footsteps away from my office. So in true journalistic fashion I can sit at my desk then bugger off down the pub when I’m suffering an especially bad bout of writers block…ahem.
Anyway, it’s the ‘Crown & Pearl’ grand re-opening at 12pm SLT TONIGHT, so PLEASE come along and join in the mayhem:)
Whilst you’re there, you can come and have a look at Angel Square itself. As well as my office, there are shops such as ‘North’ by Alfrik Northmead, featuring contemporary furniture designs, ‘Black Rose’ which sells marvellous role-play, Gorean and historic themed clothing and accessories, ‘Fae Designs’ which sells really lovely jewellery, ‘Hellspawned’ where you can buy your very own ‘Suicide Booth’ ( I kid you not!) and there’s also clothing and pictures available to buy from ‘Bee Jays’. There are more stores opening soon…so it’s worth a LM.
Should you have any enquiries about Angel Square then contact Bailey Longcloth or her husband Nijel Charles for details.
