So Google launched it’s MMO ‘thing’ a few days ago.  It’s called ‘Lively‘, and enables you to create an avatar replete with your own room that you can embed on your web-site so your friends can drop by and enjoy..which is pretty cool if you ask me! But like Kaneva and There it seems to be aimed more towards the ‘tween’ market, and your design options are limited to the content provided by Google.  With the success of vitual worlds like ‘Habbo Hotel’ I can see why Google have  decided to dip their toes into the metaverse, but personally I think with all the competition from the previously mentioned, as well as the ever popular IMVU,  I think they’ll have to rely on a lot of help from their already well-established brandname to attract the punters.  If you want to take a peek at ‘Lively’ for yourself, click HERE   What do you think?
