Apologies dear Kitty reader for not blogging much this past week; I’ve been very busy in my new real life job – so much so that when I get home I’m exhausted. Add to that the trauma of Dad’s recent hospital excursion ( touchwood-he’s fine now) and my attending ‘The Killers’ in concert on Monday and I’ve had basically no time to do anything involving SL at all. I’m going to remedy that now though by sharing some delicious new hair from Antonia Marat, the Rockabilly stylista behind the ever popular Artilleri label. Although you wouldn’t have me down as a rock chick, I do in fact own LOADS of pieces from Antonia’s amazing fashion emporium; hair, skin, dresses…allsorts. I love her work, her cigarette pants and tops mix and match extremely well with countless other items, and her dresses are always divine. I really should get rooting around in my wardrobe and wear more of her wares..,but anyhoo, back to the new hair and it is delish! What makes this exceptionally good is the fact that the bandanas included in the styles hold 37 textures. Yes, you read that right-polka dots, plain, animal prints, cherries, die ( that’s the multiple of dice, don’t you know!) A bandana for all seasons of the year that you can wear with just about anything for a mere L$200 per pack of selected shades. As you can see from the picture I’ve gone for the fringed style, Sabina II, as I don’t look great without fringes, and doesn’t it look the business? I love the fact that you can wear this with all sorts of styles and aren’t just restricted to Rockabilly fashion..I think a lot of peeps think that Artilleri is only about that particular genre, but it isn’t, and you really are doing yourself a disservice by not visiting…. As you can see here I’m wearing the hair with the Storen dress from my previous write-up, and I’ve accessorised it with cherry earrings and bag from Artilleri,,looks good, don’t you think?
