And if you thought Aoharu for women was good…

…then you ain’t seen nothing yet. This is Aoharu for men’s latest jacket release and I can honestly say I have *NEVER* seen a jacket as good. The textures, the shape and the primwork are just pure genius..this jacket is an absolute wardrobe essential for any SL man with a sense of style. Of course Jez doesn’t have a sense of style so I got him this, along with the jeans and funky hair too. Finished off with an essential Lookr tee and Panjen gloves and what you have is casual class.
Hands off girls..he’s mine:)

Aoharu gives Kitty the (Unicorn) Horn…..

It has to be said that there’s one fashion house in Second Life at the moment that is above all the others when it comes to being bang on trend, and that is Aoharu. The brand has developed into an empire, make no mistake about it, and the sim itself features a brilliantly designed boutique that is for me the closest to shopping in a real life department store as you’ll get in world. But it’s the fashion, and the passion for it that makes this place…the colours and the designs are just so utterly amazing and straight off the RL catwalk. Don’t get me wrong, I love original fashions, BUT I also want to be able to dress in the kinds of goodies that I see gracing the pages of Vogue…and Aoharu enables me to do that on a Second Life budget. You’ll find spring florals galore, zesty colours and utterly scrumptious dresses covering all kinds of styles, from Katy Perry to Lady GaGa. A real favourite for me at the moment is this dress…it’s very Little Boots with it’s Unicorn motif and is a chuffing bargain at L$180. I haven’t been this excited about a store since….Last Call.  Yes, Aoharu is THAT impressive….Now all I need to make me content is to see someone bring some of Alexander Mcqueen’s latest collection to the grid and I’ll die a happy kitty!

Artilleri- Sabina II

Artilleri- Sabina II

Apologies dear Kitty reader for not blogging much this past week; I’ve been very busy in my new real life job – so much so that when I get home I’m exhausted. Add to that the trauma of Dad’s recent hospital excursion ( touchwood-he’s fine now) and my attending ‘The Killers’ in concert on Monday and I’ve had basically no time to do anything involving SL at all. I’m going to remedy that now though by sharing some delicious new hair from Antonia Marat, the Rockabilly stylista behind the ever popular Artilleri label. Although you wouldn’t have me down as a rock chick, I do in fact own LOADS of pieces from Antonia’s amazing fashion emporium; hair, skin, dresses…allsorts. I love her work, her cigarette pants and tops mix and match extremely well with countless other items, and her dresses are always divine. I really should get rooting around in my wardrobe and wear more of her wares..,but anyhoo, back to the new hair and it is delish! What makes this exceptionally good is the fact that the bandanas included in the styles hold 37 textures. Yes, you read that right-polka dots, plain, animal prints, cherries, die ( that’s the multiple of dice, don’t you know!) A bandana for all seasons of the year that you can wear with just about anything for a mere L$200 per pack of selected shades. As you can see from the picture I’ve gone for the fringed style, Sabina II, as I don’t look great without fringes, and doesn’t it look the business? I love the fact that you can wear this with all sorts of styles and aren’t just restricted to Rockabilly fashion..I think a lot of peeps think that Artilleri is only about that particular genre, but it isn’t, and you really are doing yourself a disservice by not visiting…. As you can see here I’m wearing the hair with the Storen dress from my previous write-up, and I’ve accessorised it with cherry earrings and bag from Artilleri,,looks good, don’t you think?
Got L$250? This is what you must do…

Got L$250? This is what you must do…

……go to ‘Storin’ where you’ll find this dress called, ‘Codie’, named for the reddest and most baddass broad on the grid. You will be faced with a choice of red dress with black belt, or black dress with red belt, as shown here. You will struggle at this juncture to make a decision, because you will be sorely tempted by both. However, choose you must to look as hot as this…You will wear your purchase and revel in its prim collar and cuffs with jewel detail. You will zoom in and gasp with admiration at the texture and creasing detail below the bustline. You will then team it with your nommiest shoes ( I’m in Vinyl Vixens in this pic although you can’t see them..but after all, they were a gift from the Codielicious one herself!) and your most luch hair and accessories and then you will wander around the grid drawing admiring glances because you obviously are the epitome of taste and high fashion and everyone wants to smell like you…..you will enjoy your fame for a fleeting period, then log out of Second Life and go back to comparing diurnal herpertids, safe in the knowledge that you are a goddess beyond all compare. That is all.
Simples! ;P
