I dunno if I dare tell the other half about  this because he may well leave me! I Followed a tip off on my good buddy Lactose’s (Nikk Huett) blog and there it is in big letters..the news all of us addicts have been waiting for..SL is coming to your mobile!!

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am, but I am sure you can guess. I’d been hoping something like this would come along but I certainly didn’t think it would be so soon! Can you imagine?  We’ll be able to SL ANYWHERE!

Living our RL and SL in parallel to each other..that is one scary but exhilarating prospect! You need to visit this site:   http://www.vollee.com/secondlife   and register your interest.  Obviously you’ll need a suitable phone and service supplier-the good news for me is that my phone contract expires at the end of April so I can get myself a nice 3G phone in readiness for the beta testing that begins in May. Lets hope it’s not too buggy, and just think, in a few months time you could be sunning yourself on a secluded beach somewhere, yet nightclubbing like mad in SL!

Actually, this could be both a hindrance and a help to SL business owners.  They’ll be able to go on holiday and instead of shutting up shop for a few weeks, carry on their businesses away from their desktops.  The downside of all this is of course complete immersion in our wonderful virtual world….No, on second thoughts I’m definitely not telling Jez!!

I’ve never done anything like this before and it’s very difficult!! If anyone can recommend any sites or learning resources I’d be really pleased to hear from you!  I’ve got a book, ‘Photoshop Elements 6 for Dummies’ but it’s a struggle.  Basically all I want to know is how to make my pictures look good, impatient sod that I am! The irony is I made the banner you see at thetop of this page in one go without ever using Photoshop before or knowing what the functions are, and now I’m thinking about it I’ve made it harder. Story of my life huh?
