You know how I said I felt all ‘Meh?’ Sorted. Read Moo Money’s Twitter post about a competition on ‘Splenda Island’ and went to investigate. Basically the entrants had to submit an idea that would make ‘Second Life Sweeter’, and you have to vote for your favourite.
The idea of Splenda using SL to advertise is hilarious, but after all-how many of us make a brew, then sweeten our beverage prior to sitting in front of our monitors and logging in-world? So perhaps not that bonkers an advertising opportunity after all…Anyway, GO SEE! It’s absolutely mad-like Willy Wonka without the chocolate. It’s one helluva acid trip-giant fruit?! Place your vote, play on the fairground rides and fantasise about eating giant confectionary! Sugar rush ahoy! ( Oops-Splenda rush ahoy!!!)

.In fact I’m feeling so morose that I *was* almost tempted to start tidying up my inventory (it increased by over 3k during Xmas…I kid you not!) but the prospect was not filling me with enthusiasm.  Tidying my inventory is a hassle beyond all hassles- I have to be in one of my ‘special’ moods before I can even begin.  I really am going to have to box some stuff though and drop it into a dumpster or at Sarah Nerd’s Freebie Yard, which is the only place I know where you can deposit your inventory unwanteds for newbies to enjoy.  ( If you know anywhere else please let me know via the usual address!) So, I’m  mooching around the blogs, and hit Fab Free in SL and  *nothing* is jumping out at me until I spy this wee gem of an outfit, posted by Cherlindrea.  It’s from a group called ‘Free Speerit’ (Before you start, they have spelled it that way and it’s not my typing…) Seeing as everyone is wearing LC at the moment (snigger) I thought I’d give it a try.  Lo and behold, this is seriously worthy freebage! ( Is that the plural of freebie? Dunno…) Go and get one…

There’s a board featuring Dee’s story visible at ‘The Crown & Pearl’.  I’ve just left the party for the night as I’m whacked, but so far they have raised well over L$105000 which is just mind-blowing. What can you say? It defies explanation..people can be so amazingly generous.  Thank you to everyone who came along and helped put a smile on her chops. She was with us in game for about half an hour which was more than I thought she would manage, and she enjoyed it immensely.  Yet again SL shows the world that it’s not just all about sex/escorts/nasty things at all, but about people who care for one another and want to help. Thank you all so much x
