Personally, I blame Jez. I watched ‘Star Trek’ when I was a little girl, obviously by then it was re-runs and had been out of production for many many years. Then Jez mentioned that the original series was being jazzed up for DVD release, so I got it him as part of his Xmas stocking. Damn me it looks fantastic- the colours have been made brighter, the ship and planets CGI-ed and Kirk is still devilishly handsome as always:) BUT you know what? Those storylines were actually bloody good, and I can see where so many modern sci-fi writers have got their inspiration from. In short I’m loving it-and weren’t the outfits fabbo?? That is just BLOODY MENTAL. ( In fact, truth be told they put them out on MONDAY!!!) They’ve even put them out on the same aisle as the discounted Xmas wrap!! So, here is me as a bunny girl, wearing a rather gorgeous bunny button coat and bunny ears accented with a snazzy scarf The scowl is because I just don’t think it’s right, bah humbug and all that! ( Besides, I have tons of choccy left over from Xmas to still munch my way through before I can even entertain the idea of an Easter Egg!) ..like this one, ‘The Shallow Dream’ @ Bare Rose. I’ve had better weeks, and this place is perfect for chilling out. There’s a lot of interactivity for couples here, if you get my drift-BUT-it’s still really lovely to discover on your own. Now, who’d like to hear my rendition of ‘Sitarry Starry Night’? ( Yes- I do write my own jokes. Yes, I do know that they suck, thanks)
