..I’ve taken pictures and posted them on my flickr stream featuring some of the samples that I got from ETD. Have a nosey and see what you think, they give you a rough idea what is on offer. Obviously these are demos ( the word demo is in big swirly letters above my head, I’ve tried to obscure it)and before anyone mumbles anything derogatory I will be going back to buy each and every one of these styles, weee!  I just want to demonstrate to you how important it is to take a sample home from a store and try it on without any additional hassle. Some of them are a bit dodgy colourwise, but even so it makes the selection process much much easier:) Here endeth the lesson. 

For a start, as Douglas Adams so aptly put it..’DON’T PANIC!’  There is *plenty* of time to get yourself to the sale and get exactly what you need.  Oh yes there is, stop being so dramatic! The problem is the sim is DELUGED by people at the moment, tempers are flaring, items aren’t rezzing and there’s bits of grey goo everywhere.  The solution is simple.

BE PATIENT! 

You will get your turn like everyone else, but to make uber sure that you do, remember to remove bling, prims, huds and anything that will add to the lagfest that is already taking place. I removed all my jewellery, shoes and HUDS before I went in..it helped a bit.  There will be lots or people being bossy and snotty and self-important-ignore them,  you have as much right as anyone else to be there! The only people you need pay any mind to are the staff and they are clearly indicated.  Little tip, go in there, get the demos for all the styles you like ( and also get the ones that  you aren’t sure about as they are all free) and LEAVE.  Go home, try the styles on in comfort ( if you need someplace to go and try them on IM me and you can come to my studio) decide what you like and then, and only then, go back to buy your choices.  (Of course this doesn’t accomodate colour choices but go for packs that include a spectrum of shades if you aren’t sure, such as a naturals pack. You can always go back again should you need to.)

It’s much less stressful this way, I promise you. I have a collection of 22 samples that I am now going to try on without any of the stress:) Oh, and if you think ETD is bad, wait until the sale starts at ‘Last Call’…..

Imagine how chuffed I was to find this gift in my inventory-it was the gown I was raving about a few posts ago and isn’t it *STUNNING*. It’s from Nicky Ree and I urge you to go and look at her website and check out all the colours that this divine creation is available in. This is pure design at it’s finest..honestly, I can’t stop raving about it because it is so bloody beautiful to look at.  This is not just a gown, it’s a work of art! I feel like a princess in this, I cannot stop posing and it’s the kind of outfit that not only turns heads but makes you smile incessantly:)

Sale Prices are as follows:
Color Packs that are currently L$150 will be on sale for L$25.
Color Packs that are currently L$175 will be on sale for L$50.
Combo Packs that are currently L$200 will be on sale for L$75.
Combo Packs that are currently L$600 (which are the all blondes, all reds, etc) will be on sale for L$100.
Combo Packs that are currently L$750 (which is the all rainbow color pack) will be on sale for L$150.
Willow Pack that is currently L$2500 (all ETD hair colors) will be on sale for L$350.
