I saddled Noodle up because you can ride here! Seriously, the place just gets better and better. In fact I was lucky enough to get talking to one of the managers here who kindly showed me the wedding facilities, honeymoon suite and the interior of a rental property. Now, I’ve seen LOTS of places to get married and honeymoon ( indeed I have a place of my own that serves that purpose too) but there’s something special about being in a lodge on the side of a snowy mountain ( alas, something I can’t offer!) The honeymoon lodge here is divine. There’s LOTS of interactive features and I’m not going to tell you what they are, because if you are serious about getting wed in SL then you really do need to come and check this place out for yourself. BUT I was walking around with my gob wide open and saying ‘Ooh’ and ‘Aah’ rather a lot! The wedding chapel and reception areas are uber romantic and if you wanted a Christmas wedding well you couldn’t get much better than this place! Put it this way, it would be a wonderful way to start your second lives together:) Failing that if you’re already married but feeling festive, there are plenty of gorgeous lodges here to rent. The largest is L$6000 a month, and for that you get a beautiful property and 775 prims to play with:) You would never be bored in this community either, I’m convinced of that, as there is just so much to see and do. Don’t take my word for it though, go and have a look. ( And if you want to check out the wedding facilities or lodges, IM Kasianni Nikolaidis and tell her Kitty sent ya!)

Nadia by ETD

This is ‘Nadia’ (A demo-feeling sorry for me yet?) which is a lovely loose braid that starts over the right ear and falls loosely over the left shoulder. It’s one of three new releases from ETD for the girlies. ( There are 3 for the boys too, but boys smell) There is a lovely updo called ‘Peyton’, and another called ‘Lydia’ which is a short boyish crop. Very nice but looks bloody awful on me…so no you aren’t seeing me in that one. Go check em all out at ETD!

A very good reason to spend lots of Lindens..(you won’t thank me for this!)
**Artilleri has a half-price sale!!!**
My reaction to this was ‘Weee!’ and jumping up and down in a very excited fashion. ‘Artilleri’ is FABULOUS and if you have never been there, well-you want a bloody good slap to be perfectly honest! They are celebrating 2 years in the biz by knocking 50% off EVERTHING in the main store. If you buy *NOTHING* else this winter you MUST buy the uber stylish ‘Kat’s Coat’. (Don’t be put off by the retro and rockerbilly tags if it isn’t your thing either, as the styles are amazingly versatile:)
However if you’re sensible like me you’ll just go mad and buy the LOT.
The sale ends at 9AM SLT on Friday…I’ll see you there in 5 minutes!!!
Somebody stop me!
I need your help! If you see me going near a hair shop at any point in the near future, I really need you to grab me by whatever short or curlies I am wearing at the time and forcibly remove me from the area. Even if I scream or start foaming at the mouth! I do not need more hair, or that’s what I thought until earlier, when in my stupidity I happened across ‘Armidi’. I’m a huge fan of one of their original styles, ‘The Bombshell, ‘ but had been so busily lapping up whatever ETD or FD had on offer that I forgot to visit them when they eventually opened up their sim. I’ve now made amends for that error, and then some.. The place itself is stunningly chic and was very busy when I visited. I soon realised why when I saw the hairstyles. They’re so gorgeous that they almost hurt! I did really well and ONLY bought two -‘Ginza’ and ‘Soho’. The latest pictures on Flickr feature me wearing Ginza. I love everything about this style. I bought the tipped pack and you get a lovely variety of shades, so it’s well worth the linden, and it goes really well with the outfit I’m wearing. ( I’ve been wearing the kilt for 3 days now, it really does need a wash!) I also stocked up on demos for trying on in the comfort of my own home ( Something that I always recommend that you do when buying hair. Stuff standing in the store, take it home and try it on in private)The black jumper is also from Armidi. I checked out the clothes section while I was there and was again very impressed by the superb layout and the classic styling, BUT I thought the prices were a bit on the steep side. I’m not mad keen on paying over l$400 just for a raincoat, no matter how gorgeous it is, so I didn’t and treated myself to the jumper instead which is sculpty prim-licious:)
