Baiastice May Group Gift..get one NOW!

I’ve commented before that I don’t do Neko that often, but when I do I like it to be a bit spesh. Cue the group gift from Baiastice, which sent me screaming to my inventory to get my fave Neko ears
(Anises’s Neko Ears in Wine) so that I could wear them with the gift. It was the ‘pussy bow’ that did it you see, it’s an amazingly neat fishnet bow tied at the back with the front covering your mush, but not in such a way that means no-one can see your radiant beauty, or in this case my Curio April skin in Crocus:) Anyway, back to the gift! You get a tee, fishnet bow, chunky square bangles, jeans and shoes. The jeans are actually very funky, but I wanted to do a shot focusing on my chops so you’ll just have to take my word for it! I’ve teamed the ensemble with a short funky do from Zero Style and I think the whole ensemble is extremely funky in a relaxed way and yes, it features pink which you all know I have an aversion to but hey, it looks good so what’s the problem?

I’ve already found plenty of amazingness on this hunt, and I’ll share some of it with you during some forthcoming blog posts.  First off, check out the website to read up all about this wonderful hunt adventure. This my friends is the rather snazzy group gift from Pixel Dolls.
It’s a lovely dress called ‘Chess’, which really isn’t my kind of thing at all, BUT, as Pete Tong might say, “Oooh, that works”. It does indeed actually; the gift is called ‘Midnight’ and is a blue and black off the shoulder frock-affair. It features all the usual quality traits that you’d expect from Pixel Dolls, like a great texture when you zoom in, but I really love the fluid feeling that you get from the organza/fishnet trimmings that haphazardly fall from under the skirt. The straps don’t *quite* work as well as I’d like, but hey that’s a minor issue…I want a dress to look very good when I wear it, and ‘Chess’ does that very well indeed.

Like I said previously this really isn’t my thing at all ( I very nearly didn’t even try it on) but when you add my current skin du jour from Curio, and the hair that I just cannot stop wearing at the moment, Dana by Zero Style, then you have a look just the right side of 1980’s sleazy. In fact it would lend itself to an 80’s disco theme very well, replete with New Romantic make up and fingerless lace gloves, don’t you think?
Pop over to Pixel Dolls and you’ll find ‘Chess’ available in a variety of fruity colourways..or you could always cheat and join the group and check out the notices..AHEM. I’d rather you poddled over and bought one though, PD is a constant on the grid and has been churning out affordable fashion pieces for a long time now, and it deserves your support. Incidentally..for the photo I was trying to make the picture look like a sleazy late 1970’s movie poster..you know the kind of thing that would have Mary Millington starring in it, or such-like..
Since putting this on I’ve been inclined towards singing ‘One Night in Bangkok’ by Murray Head, from the musical ‘Chess’..cracking song that…hence the title of the post.

I’m listening to Alison Moyet at the moment- hence the title, but I can think of nothing more appropriate for this skin. Obviously this being an arty shot you can’t really see all the details, but trust me..this is a truly amazing male skin. It’s from Belleza, and I implore you-JOIN THEIR GROUP! Yes, it will cost you, but as I think I’ve said before it is the BEST L$250 you will ever spend*, because all the preview skins that they have sent out to Jez have been amazing..he’s looked wonderful in every single one and I insist, nay demand that he remains a beautiful Belleza boy…
The skin is called Jonas. Sorry teenyboppers, but in this skin I seriously think that Jez is the best looking Jonas brother….
