However, I’m less enthusiastic than you’d think, owing to not being able to go in world at the mo due to a really bad hydro-headache:( It’s getting very boring, and it means that I’m not able to pose and shop and take pretty pictures..so in some ways it’s a good thing that I’m doing this birthday countdown, otherwise the blog would be lonely and sad without me. I need to get well soon though, as I *love* birthdays and get all giddy and I have a feeling Jez is planning things, yay! I already know a pressie that Jez has got me ( I asked for it!) which is a *stunning* matt silver bangle by esteemed UK jewellery designer Diana Porter…really nice and plain BUT elegant and perfect for constant wear, which is my intention. I’ve also asked for some Linden Dollars ( How mad is that? As a kid you’d ask for real money,as an adult I’m asking for Lindens!), a Space Navigator ( which I’ve heard works fabulously with Second Life) and some other random bits and bobs. It’ll be a very poignant birthday this year though, losing Dee so recently. We always made a real do out of birthdays-going out and getting drunk and falling over a bit when she was well, and in recent years just going out for a meal or chilling at home. I know I’ll miss her but Yule will be harder, as we always made such a celebration out of it…still I’ve a few months to go until I have to worry about that.
Rambling a bit aren’t I? Ahem- well here’s today’s happy snap for my birthday countdown. I really love this picture, the irony of it is that I’m wearing a PINK dress ( I HATE Pink) by ‘Audacious’, but it looks fabulous teamed with this skin from ‘Laqroki’ ( ‘Drew’) gloves and scarf from ‘Snatch’ and hair by ‘The Abyss’.
Anyway folks- at least it’s Friday huh? Oh and before I forget, I got some smashing messages from a couple of the most esteemed designers on the grid-Cherry Cheevers and Noam Sprocket-that have really put a BIG smile on my poorly chops- thankies for that guys! Yay!

Here’s another picture taken in 2007. I’m in my undies (again)but my hair is very different, although you may recognise it as being the same style that Amanda sported in my (recent) Flickr pictures. It’s a lovely style from Armidi, but I’ve not worn it in ages. Perhaps it’s time to dig it out, dust it down and wear more often…what do you think?
