Please forgive the intrusion to normal Kitty-service, but today is a special day for me. Y’see in real life I mark an important birthday today, my 40th. 

I have no idea where the last 40 years have gone.  It’s all passed by so incredibly fast, especially the past ten years which have probably been the most important of my life.  They have shaped me in so many ways.

I shall be marking the day in RL with my beloved doing something fabulous, so there won’t be any updates to the blog over the weekend.But I will of course be back very soon, older but probably not much wiser!

Until then, if you see any cake (or pie)  please cut yourself a slice and celebrate another year passing with me! (And thanks to Aribeth Zelin for the cake!)
