I didn’t plan on seeing in the new year with a new frock; truth be told, I wasn’t expecting that I’d buy anything summery because even though it can be absolutely ANY season in Second Life, being a northern hemisphere lass means I tend to stick to dressing in both lives for the season. So that means no frocks in January, but LOTS OF jumpers (Oh, I do love a good SL jumper, seen any on your travels that I should know about?) AND THEN of course I popped over to EQUAL 10 and all such ideas of winter warmth vanished when I saw this we belter of a cardigan and frock combo from HIMEDREAM Guys, it’s just draw-droppingly simple but spectacular, in the way that simple so often can be. It’s a non-detachable cardigan and dress, with the dress having a low neckline embellished with lace and ribbon, finishing just ever-so-slightly over the knee to a fluted finish. See? Simple, but what makes it so good is the HUD, and if you fatp[ack this, which I very quickly did after trying the demo, you’ll be blessed with multiple colour options for dress, cardigan and accent ribbon. There are twelve colours to choose from, leading to endless combinations for the perfect look for every occasion. The lace comes in two options: white or black. I can see myself totally rocking this all year round, choosing darker colours in the Autumn and opting for festive red and white come December. This is just such a happy little virtual wardrobe essential; pop it on, choose your combo and there you go.
