( Sung to the choon of ‘Video Killed the radio Star’ by The Buggles)
Yay! I was on Woman’s Hour this morning so got to speak to the delectable Jenni Murray- her voice really is lovely:) It was great fun actually! I miss radio..wish I’d got my arse in gear when I was a kid…(sigh)Of course afterwards you always think of things that you’d like to have said, and I feel that I didn’t quite say enough really, but I was concious that I didn’t want to waffle and try and keep my points concise.
Anyway, if you want to have a laugh, here’s the blurb from the Radio 4 website:
Where does real life begin and end?
As web chat rooms, forums and virtual worlds become more popular, the opportunity for meeting new people online has never been greater. Virtual worlds are in many ways similar to the real world, offering characters the chance to be part of a community, form new relationships, and even get married. But where does the boundary lie between online and real world relationships? Is cheating in a virtual world ever grounds for divorce? Jenni is joined by Lisa Millar, a virtual world player, Tim Guest, author of Second Lives, and social psychologist Dr Monica Whitty.
