Big girl, you are beautiful!

Big girl, you are beautiful!

Through the brilliant web site that is ‘Sweet Second Life’ I’ve been able to discover some *cracking* blogs. If you enjoy reading blogs as much as I do, and want to find the best Second Life content then you have to check the site out. It features the most popular blogs, but it also gives new bloggers a chance and you get to read some splendid writing that under normal circumstances you may miss.Today I’ve been reading ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’, the blog of a STUNNER called Rosie Barthelmess. I swear reading her blog has made me fall head over heels in love! Her blog is highly readable, featuring witty content and brilliant writing. Her most recent post is about the loss of her mum to cancer, and I don’t mind saying that I blubbed into my keyboard reading it. She’s shared an extremely difficult time with the blogging community, and it’s a poignant read. It makes you want to ring your own loved ones and tell them how much they mean to you…After I’d composed myself and left Rosie a message of support, I read the rest of her blog…and I was instantly hooked! It’s written from the heart, the writing style is spot on and the content is thoroughly entertaining. It’s the kind of blog that I aspire to create myself ! Rosie is a big lass in RL and proud of it..but she’s also a big girl in SL. Now, that is something you don’t see very often. SL being a vehicle to live out your dreams it’s interesting to see that the majority of avatars gravitate towards having perfect tits, waist and ass…whatever ‘perfect’ is of course. It certainly got me thinking…and I concluded that I’m as ‘guilty’ as the next avvie of seeking perfection via my avvie. I chose Kitty’s shape cos I liked it and as soon as I tried it on it clicked for me. Her shape combined with her skin created a character that I could enjoy living as in the metaverse. She’s my avatar and she is different to me, but essentially she IS me, an extension of my RL self. I think Kitty is gorgeous, and although I wouldn’t object to looking like her in RL it’s certainly not a goal of mine. (Actually, no I wouldn’t look like Kitty in RL, and not because of the poundage or whatever..she has her hair in short bobbed styles, and I ain’t cutting my tresses off for love nor money!) I’m happy with my appearance in RL., I’m a big lass myself who will *never* fit into a size 8 but I don’t want to! The curves are what make a woman in my opinion..oh, and the fact that I like my food and I have NO intentions of depriving myself of any luxuries that come my way! Besides, being big does have it’s advantages you know- I have FANTASTIC norks:) Anyway, I digress. Rosie is GORGEOUS, and no I’m not just saying that! If you don’t believe me, then check out her blog and her Flickr and then come back and tell me that you haven’t fallen.( She reminds me of the singer ‘Adele’, the lady who spends all her time ‘Chasing Pavements’, as you do.) Go and stick the kettle on and get yourself a brew. In fact, add a few custard creams to the mix, get your reading glasses on and enjoy a ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’. ( Here’s thought-she’d be a fabbo addition to Codie’s Boudoir Rouge!! Must tell CBR…)

  1. Big girls ARE beautiful… My fiancé in RL was a gorgeous curvy woman and I lurve the curves on a gal, it’s SO sexy… If I had the choice between a stick insect and a sexy BBW, I’d plump for the plump every time.

I too have read Rosie’s blog and she sounds like a real giggle. I’d love to meet her in SL.
