My heartfelt thanks..

My heartfelt thanks..

..goes out to everyone who has commented, e-mailed and been in touch with me over the past few week. In real life at the moment I’m helping Dee’s family with the arrangements, but the funeral will be held on Tuesday at 3pm. Second Life has been a bit of an escape for me these past few days..although if you had Dee on your friends list and have noticed her online, don’t be alarmed.  It’s me- we’d planned what would happen and I’m working on emptying her inventory and will be selling her 512 plot..all proceeds will of course be going to Relay for Life in world, as she would have wanted:)  A efw people have asked if I would be leaving SL or closing the blog.  Absolutely not- Dee would want, nay insist that it carries on, and it certainly shall.  I am planning on establishing ‘something’ in SL at a later date to serve as a permanent memorial. I don’t really want to reveal too much..BUT suffice to say it’s my hope that if I succeed I’ll be able to carry on fund-raising in world in honour of my friend.  She’d like that:) Grief of this kind is not something that I have ever experienced before and at the moment I am very up and down, but I’m concious that I need to regain some sort of normality, so I’m writing reviews for the blog etc which you will see in the next week or so…normal service will resume as they say.  Until then, if so inclined, light a candle and think of Dee..and if you know astronomy, in the Lynx constellation there is a star named Dionne Walker.

She’ll shine forever now.
