Feast your eyes on these little beauties! No, NOT those..look behind me, on my sofa. These are the smashing ‘Alphabet Pillows’ from Agent Orange, a store that I had no knowledge of at all UNTIL the SL Discovery Hunt. The designer behind the brand is Sienia Trevellion and she kindly sent me these to review, and I’ve fallen in love with them! These cushions are uber-cute; each one is individually created using handmade textures which makes them a quirky addition to any home. I’ve put mine on the sofas as you walk into my house, and they look faboosh! One sofa says ‘Jez’, the other, as featured above says ‘Kitty’…cute huh? The designer, Sienia Trevellion says that she knows an avatar who spelled out the words ‘I’m Sorry’ using these cushions, and I can’t think of a sweeter apology..especially when you consider they were surrounded by cupcakes:) The pillows are L$40 each, or you can buy an entire alphabet for L$350. I think that they are a really lovely addition. Often it’s the simplest ideas that work the best, don’t you think? If like me you weren’t familiar with Agent Orange then use the SL Discovery Hunt as your opportunity to get acquainted..the store sells quirky, well-detailed hobo/neko items and the gift for the hunt is a really lovely picture noticeboard, with texture and size change functions. Sienia is evidently very talented. Finally there’s a subscribe-o-matic in store and a box of freebies too..indulge heartily I say! I’ve signed up to the subscribo as I’m so impressed with these items and they’ve left me eagerly anticipating new designs from Agent Orange..I really do love these cushions and I’m firmly of the opinion that they are destined to be an SL interiors classic. It’s often the simplest things that make all the difference you know..just like me:)

My only criticism of them is that there is no variance for the letters, so if you have a double letter in your name, for instance two ‘T’s then both cushions look the same… Just 2 different cushions per letter would do it…

Amanda, your criticism is well founded and actually a fantastic idea. I will get to work on creating a second set of letters and perhaps make each pillow texture change on click. Anyone who has bought them or does buy them will get the updated version once completed. And you will get a set for free since you gave me the idea. Thank you for the feedback!

I love everything i have ever seen from Sienia and Agent Orange. I like kitty had never heard of her before the hunt but now i have already bought some gifts and my own stock of items. What a refreshing designer. Oh and how cool is it that she hung out in the store the first night to make sure that the hunt gift was hard but not too hard so that people had a challenge but didn’t get frustrated. She also took the time to answer questions and get to know some of the hunters as the passed through. Designers like this are all about what SL should be and can be. Keep up the great work i CAN’T WAIT to see more!!
