I’m going into business creating and selling shapes!
Yes, you heard it here first, I’ve created a line of totally bodacious shapes that complement the best skins on the grid and make you look a million dollars for peanuts!
I’ve been working really hard on this project and the first wave of five shapes will be going on sale at a special introductory price very soon..I cannot wait to tell you more but at the moment I’m adding the finishing touches to my creations before I start to distribute them.You can see pictures of four of the skins on my Flickr stream (a bit further down this page) but my first release will feature four female shapes AND one male shape too.This poster features the ‘Ultimate Kittycurve Shape’ and even if I say so myself it is a corker.
In fact, you could say that it’s…Kittylicious!
Adieu Ivalde and L’abel
Tomorrow, the 8th, will see bloggers from all over the grid posting their favourite looks created by Nefaria, the genius behind the labels Ivalde and L’abel. Yes, I’m a little early- I needed to get this done now because I start night-shifts in RL on Monday, but I wanted to pay tribute to a Second Life instituition. It seems that so many esteemed names are leaving the grid at the moment; first we had Miriel and now Ivalde and it’s a worrying trend. These are the designers who helped establish the benchmark for metaverse fashion, and we really should be thankful for that.
Ivalde leaves behind a huge legacy. Nef’s store was always busy when I visited, was often featured in the hunts, and her Christmas gifts are legendary..but it was her ability to create evocative fashion from throughout the ages, be it a roaring 1920’s flapper dress or a 1970’s pantsuit ( I have that!) that established her as a favourite across the grid. Whatever look and era you were after you could find it at Ivalde.
I have a number of items from Ivalde, but I wanted to feature this one, the ‘Marilyn Wiggle Dress’. Ivalde produced a collection based upon classic Marilyn Monroe styles which I absolutely adored, and this was the epitome of the collection for me. The colour and texture and styling are just beautiful and I utterly adore it. I’ve teamed it with jewellery from Purple Rose for a beautiful classic look…lovely isn’t it?

Now hang on..I’m getting really confused here. …..
This girl isn’t Kitty either, but *wowser*! She’s that special kind of lady, confident enough to know that being beautiful doesn’t mean you have to be a size zero. She’s super-sexy, classy, beautiful…dare I say it?
I think she’s….KITTYLICIOUS!
