Kitty goes to the wonderful world of Ozmoz!

How mad is this? This gorgeous island is dedicated to fragrance, which sounds utterly bonkers in a virtual world where you can’t smell anyone or anything, yet it manages to be highly entertaining! You take a tour floating around on a flower visiting the various areas, and there’s a quiz to work out what kind of perfume you are..mine I think was spot on: I’m Chypre ( Chypre! No, Not cheap! <sigh>) You can also buy bottles of virtual fragrance to wear! (It’s a particle emitter that discharges ‘scent’ particles around your neckin pretty colours!) It’s deserted here, and so pretty, ideal if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to relax with your beloved, such as the beautiful garden of fragrance to wander through or the lovely beach replete with poses too. If you fancy a day out that’s quiet and romantic but still has plenty to entertain you then come and explore this fragrant isle!

Earthtones or Earthstones? How much fun can a typo provide?

Earthtones or Earthstones? How much fun can a typo provide?

Ok, I visited Linden Lifestyles  earlier and determined that when I got home I has some serious jewellery shopping to do.  So when I logged in, I typed in ‘Earthtones’ and had a wonderful time buying jewellery and funnily enough not spotting a single item that Salome had blogged.  That’s cos it was a TYPO, I’d missed out the ‘S’ and as a very lucky consequence had found myself at a rather lovely store. Earthtones is fabulous, filled with beautiful collections including this utterly scrumptious ‘Heartwood’ set that I’m wearing.  Lucas Lamath, the designer at Earthtones, also creates beautiful astrological jewellery, and some seriously astounding pieces including a ‘Crescent Wish’ necklace that I utterly adore!

But of course, I was wondering where the stuff that Salome had blogged was, realised my mistake and found myself over at ‘Earthstones’ and fell in love all over again ( I’m so capricious!) I squealed at the chakra and crystal point necklaces and belly chains and ankhs and pentacles,Witchy that I am:) BUT I swear my pants were moist when I spotted the Labradorite wire wrapped pendant.  Labradorite is my fave crystal ever and I am GOBSMACKED by the fact that someone has got the texture for it spot on in Second Life..seriously, you will be AMAZED!

The next picture shows the ultimate pentacle set, I’ve yet to see it bettered in Second Life!

Kitty Tip: If you cannot make up your mind which store to frequent, here’s a useful suggestion. Go to BOTH.  They’re utterly beautiful yet distinctive and the wares are superbly priced. So there.

I’ve been tagged..yet again!!

I’ve been tagged..yet again!!

Alysha tagged me, the ickle bugger!! This one’s rather different to previous taggage mind…..utterly random madness naturally, but potentially informative. Here are the rules for the latest tag madness.1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).

2. Open the book to page 123.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the next three sentences.

5. Tag five people.

So as per rule number three, I’ve picked up the book in my bag under my desk, flicked through and found page 123, and the fifth sentence down is: “…And even if the pool is only a synthetic one, the water looks lovely.”

No prizes for guessing what the book is about! Like Alysha, mine is a Second Life book, only this one is “The Unofficial Tourist’s Guide to Second Life” by Paul Carr and Graham Pond. The next three sentences are as follows:

“Thankfully not everything in Second Life is obtainable only through the power of the Linden dollar. There is also a great deal of free stuff out there too. In fact there is free stuff just about everywhere.”

I’m going to tag the following people: Amanda Shinji, Deedee Fadoodle, Codebastard Redgrave, Prad Prathivi and Ivey Deschanel. Har Har evil chuckles!

Kitty quicky: Audacious

Kitty quicky: Audacious

What a fab name for a store!! Got the tip off from Fab Free that they’d opened so went to check them out….ooh there are some nicies here girlies!! There’s a ton of opening freebage on offer too, so go and indulge yourselves BUT as Hazel puts so delicately ‘Don’t forget to be grateful!’ There are many items worthy of a purchase too, like this dress here. I love the retro feel of it, and it looks fab with my scarf and gloves from Sn@tch.  Yes, I KNOW it’s pink and I don’t ”Do’ pink but for some reason..this works!  It’s a brave move opening a new store with all the theft that’s around at the mo, so congratz to Audacious and I wish them every success! Right- bath time for the Kitster…
