For those of you wondering where I am, I’ve been a tad unwell in RL over the past few days.  Basically I have had a head from hell, combined with sudden insomnia and as a consequence I’ve been warking around like ‘death warmed up’.  You know you’re pretty poorly when logging in world seems like a chore, instead of the usual joy.

But rest assured gentle reader ( to quote Charles Dickens) like an attack of thrush I will be back..back..BACK as soon as I’m able:) I’ve missed out on a full two days worth of freebies which has pained me no end, but I hope you guys haven’t been as lax and have been topping up your freebie sacks with all the gorgeous goodies on offer:)

Anyway-just wanted to keep you up-to-date. Presents and cash in lieu of RL sympathetic hugs always gratefully recived:)

Apologies dear readers for not posting over the past two days..my head has felt like there was a prty going on in the centre of my brain and everyone was invited, except me! ( I gatecrashed and sat in the kitchen, you will always find me in the kitchen at parties.  There’s a song in there;) I have been in world but only quickly so that I could get my freebies, natch, but I haven’t taken piccies of me wearing the goods as yet.  I’ll catch up, but in the meantime please make sure that you don’t miss out:)Anyhoo I’ve just been perusing the blogs as is my usual habit ( even though looking at a screen at the moment makes my eyes bounce around as though they are the bass-line to ‘Pump up the Volume’) and of course I happened across Linden Lifestyles during my travels.  For those who haven’t been here since the beginning, I’m a *HUGE* fan of that blog, and when I was starting out in SL it was my guiding hand.  I probably own every outfit the writers have  ever covered-and I even went through all the old posts, so that’s some wardrobe!  Oh and incidentally it was because of LL that I developed my hair addiction..so read at your peril:) If you follow someone ardently and you’re a bit of a fan there can be nothing better than getting some mutual recognition in return, and I’m delighted to say that the girls spotted my posting on the ‘Navidad’ frock and have subsequently blogged it.  This really excited me no end- it’s superb getting a mention from someone whose work you admire.  Ego trip? Oh god yes, and why not eh? It’s put a smile on my face and I’m sure the endorphins will help the headache..that and the paracetamol, gin, hot water bottle and Joss Homme rubbing ointment into my temples whilst whispering soothing words of love…”Yes Joss, that’s lovely but could you please take all your clothes off whilst you rub my temples? In fact if you like you could work your way down a bit..OOH! That’s much better:)”

..if you haven’t joined ‘Fashion Consolidated’ by now then you really do deserve  a hearty slap round the chops with a wet kipper.  Because you were in spitting distance of missing out on the *glorious* Navidad dress and shoes. These are gifts from Isobel Desantis and Constanza Volare.  I’m all for freebies, obviously, but this is spoiling people to shame.  The shoes are beautiful and the dress is..well, think of eggnog, sleigh-bells, Bing Crosby and chestnuts roasting on an open fire all rolled into one package. In other words, it’s Christmas in dress from.  And you have two days to get it in.  Then you’ll feel utterly stupid for missing out and be ridiculed by all of your friends…especially me.  I’ll be the one jumping up and down in my new frock shouting ‘Told you so!’ ( The dress even comes with a script so the skirt doesn’t fall through the bottom of a chair when you sit, as so many frocks are want to do..)

The dress is only available until noon SLT on Tuesday 4th December. It’s available from the ‘Alchemy’ Main store (Emilia 34, 143, 76) for nowt.  The shoes are situated next to the dress in Alchemy, (but they are also available at the Angels flagship store where you can get the shoes until December 25th)  Again, they cost a big fat nuffink, but it would be a real shame not to have the frock that goes perfectly with them, don’t ya think? You have to go to Angels anyway (West Sunset 207, 119, 22) because they have an advent calendar that will bestow freebie shoes on you and make you sing with happiness:) Incidentally, I was lucky enough to bump into Isobel Desantis whilst at the store.  I thanked her for being so generous with her freebies and she was extremely gracious.  Star of the show however is Rina, she’s Isobel’s chow and greets patrons as you enter the store.  By the time I left the store I was entranced, not just by the superb products on display but by an exceptionally gorgeous doggy.  Please go and pay Rina a visit, and don’t forget your goodies!
