Yay! Just found out I’ve won l$250 for my entry into the Halloween costume contest on Linden Lifestyles! I am uber chuffed, as you can imagine:)  It’s nice to be recognised, because I spend a lot of time taking pictures and uploading them to Flickr.  I don’t have photoshop either, and I was frustrated by that initially, but you can get good results without it:) Oh happy days- can’t wait to tell Jez!

I shall be re-arranging my links pretty soon and this one will certainly take pride of place. Incidentally, I was sorting through a load of blog faves yesterday, updating them etc and was sad to see that ‘Style Disorder’ was shut.  That’s a shame, because I loved the look of that blog and the way it was written.  Sad to see it go.

I’d like to delete and add a few more but can I hell as like remember my Del.icio.us password, and I’ve repeatedly asked for a password reminder but to no joy.  I’ve also joined the Ringsurf group ‘Second Life Bloggers’ ( which should be renamed to ‘Second Life Buggers’ if you ask me) but misplaced the code that I had to put in my widget (ooer missus) and have also forgotten the password I used for that too.  I’ve e-mailed them for assistance and again, no joy. I keep saying to myself that I will write the ruddy passwords down in a safe place BUT I forget to do that as well.  It’s official.  I’m useless. BUT the good news is that I’m going to the VIP Richard Hawley gig tomorrow night…WOOOT! Me, a VIP! LOL ( Instead of it meaning that I’m a ‘Very important prat’   it actually means in my case that I am a ‘Very Imbecilic Pillock’) Anyway- if anyone reading knows how I can unlock my del.icio.us account/get the Ringsurf thing working please share the love and write your answer on a postcard to the usual address.  I’m off to flush my head down the bog to see if that will help.

I’m COLD!! So if you happen across me in world today you’ll see me in full winter get-up- hat,coat, scarf, boots, big socks…Yes, I know it isn’t snowing and perhaps the outfit is a tad excessive but BRRR!  (I’m sure turning the clocks back also makes the temperature drop) Anyway, I spent a fabbo evening last night at the Pink charity ball, raising funds for fighting Breast Cancer.  Now, as regular readers may be aware, I don’t do ‘Pink’..it’s my LEAST favourite colour. But I made an exception, and found some hair that had pink in it, so that was a compromise. ( It also had red to match my red eyes, because I was still wearing my ‘Enchantress’ frock) Needless to say I stuck out like a Goth at a Barbie party, but it was all for charity of course, and some of the laydees present got very excited over the auctioneering.  I almost expected to see fights on the floor over the exclusive dresses that were up for auction-bidding was fast, furious and raised over L$200k!!  Which is just bloody brilliant.  I also finally met and spent a fair amount of the evening chatting to ‘Codebastard Redgrave’ and very nice she is too..so all in all a highly enjoyable nights work.

On to this morning then, and I’ve been looking around my regular haunts and picked up a few nice items.  You can get a FREE LACE ROBE and FREE HALLOWEEN EYES at ‘Adamneve’ so I got them, obviously. The eyes are pretty good, and you could probably use them after the event:)  I also bought some new hair..I don’t need new hair…(sigh) You know I don’t but hey, I’m addicted. I thought I’d try a short style, ‘Flicked’, so I did, and it looked ok when I tried the demo on, but I actually think that it’s too short for me…perhaps I also bought it in the wrong colour.  I picked ‘Auburn’ but as yet it isn’t working for me.  It may grow on me yet, we’ll just have to wait and see…( grow on me-short hair..har har!)

I also poddled over to Pixel Dolls and picked up a pack of their India tops and a wonderful prim scarf that I am really in love with!  The India tops are lucious, but be warned you WILL be showing your nipples to everyone unless you wear a camisole underneath.  The scarf is FABBO so and go and buy one as it’s colour change and REALLY cheap.  (While you’re there they also have some FREEBIE pendant stone necklaces and they are really nice, a great addition to the boho/ethnic look and in very nice colours too, so make sure you get a pack:)  (

Oh, and I also pottered over to Calla and bought some new hair called ‘Peony’ to make up for the disappointment of ‘Flicked’ not working for me and yes I feel much better now…ahem.
