House of Hucci sent out a lovely corset and shorts set called ‘Amerie’ to subscribers this morning, and it got me thinking…it’s almost Spring! The nights are definitely stretching out more now, and the mornings are starting extra early with the birds on full tweet. The hedgerows near where I live are full of activity: Blackbirds and Robins are full-on, claiming territory and their womenfolk! The best thing though is the sunshine..it’s wonderful to have some warming rays beating down on the earth again, and already the Crocus and Snowdrops are starting to appear..but for me, it’s not really Spring until the Daffodils bloom. It’s funny how this change of season  is reflected on the grid too. People are more lively at this time of year, there are loads of events and it seems to me that even in an environment where the seasons have no influence, we definitely choose to be influenced by them. Take a look around you and you’ll see what I mean-the winter apparel, hats, scarves and gloves are being cast aside for shorts and swimwear! Personally speaking I’m hanging on to mine, like my Grandad used to say, “Ne’er cast a clout until May is out”, but look around you on your grid travels and you’ll definitely see a change in the season too.
