Kitty ventures into ‘The Sea Hole’

Kitty ventures into ‘The Sea Hole’

There’s a sale at The Sea Hole, and you can pick up some truly amazing bargains in-store until June 10th. Selected items from each range are reduced to L$50 and there are some stunning dresses, tops and outfits available to pick from. This is truly a sale not to be missed, especially if you’re on a limited Linden budget like myself, because EVERY item in store reeks of quality.

I really adore the attention that’s been paid to the styling of each item by the wonderfully named Drinkinstein Sorbet. Not only are the textures good, but the colours and the patterns that are applied to each item really rank amongst the best I have ever seen in Second Life. The clothes are quirky, stylish and above all VERY original. You can create your entire summer capsule wardrobe here in one fatal swoop should you so wish, safe in the knowledge that you are going to look ruddy wonderful in the months ahead. I must recommend a few pieces to you in particular: The ‘Dita’ and ‘Drink’ jeans, ‘Arrest Me’ top, the ‘Sheer’ tank top and scarf, the ‘Kashmir’blouse, ‘Harem’ Jumpsuit and the ‘Kahala’ maxi-dress are all seriously worth your spends.

There’s load more to pick from too; but these are just really special items that caught my eye. I’m wearing the ‘Matterhorn’ shorts and the ‘Toile’ top (without it’s base) in this shot..absolutely lovely aren’t they? CLICK HERE to visit!

Kitty’s In EXILE…

Kitty’s In EXILE…

..and totally loving it. If I’m brutally honest I wasn’t a huge fan of EXILE until only very recently, and now I am making up for lost time with the kind of enthusiasm that I normally only reserve for wine and cupcakes on a Friday night.

In fact, when I first saw this style, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to carry it off on my avatar. But I shouldn’t have worried; this one is rather deceptive because it’s actually rather versatile, and once I’d tried the demo I fell instantly in love. The shortest that I normally go is bob-length, but this style won me over with its choppy texture and length to one side of the face, which beautifully softens the profile.
Despite looking like you’d only be able to wear this with baggies, vest tops and hoodies in a street-setting you can actually dress it up very successfully with a maxi-dress and heels.
For this snap I’m wearing a CURIO skin, as well as eyes by MIASNOW, another brand to which I have recently become a convert. I also sneaked a septum piercing and hoop earrings in for an urban look, with more than a hint of Rihanna..

..courtesy of ‘Vanilla C Designs‘. This fabulously feline bonnet is available in store for L$250 and comes with a pair of matching mittens, but you can actually get it for nowt as a prize in the ‘Zombie Popcorn Hunt’ that’s just started on the grid. It’s a pretty easy prize to find, and I really like it; it’s dead quirky and reminds me of those ‘Spirit Hoods’ that Fearne Cotton and Kei$ha wear. There are some *cracking* items to be found in the hunt this year, details of which are on the hunt website.
