( If you used to read ‘Smash Hits’ in the ’80s you’ll remember that phrase only too well!) Anyway, can you recall that really mad fault from a few months ago where your eyes would just cross for no reason? It made taking pictures a complete gamble, but was ‘rectified’ a few months ago. I recall Prad calling it the ‘Best bug ever!’
Well, guess what? It’s back!! Yayayay! A fault that is actually a bit fun-woot!

I stick out like a sore thumb in this sim ( s’ok, there’s no one else around) but you really must come and take a look. It’s one of those sims that make Second Life so special. It’s wonderfully constructedand features a bounty of fabulous shops. There’s nothing garish or cheaply done- it’s really fun to window-shop at! I’ve bought some cracking stuff too, so I shall be having fun posing all afternoon! ( No I’m not telling you, wait and see!)

I’m almost ashamed to admit this, but I have never been to ‘Calliefornia’ until now. Yes, I know, I should be taken outside and thrashed heartily for this sin! This means that I’d never visited ‘Tomboy’ ( one of the stores featured on the sim) until now, and it is ace:) Not only does it feature great clothes ( logo tees and suchlike) it also has an excellent jewellery section and the store is beautifully built, with plenty of fab photo opportunities! There’s also a nicely crafted free necklace in the store to snaffle:) Enjoy!

My routine for Mondays is ALWAYS this: fire up PC and go straight to ‘Linden Lifestyles’ and devour Daisyblue Hefferman’s latest weekly fashion round-up. I then develop a strange tic and end up in a virtual shopping frenzy, spending LOTS of Lindens in the process. The fashion houses must love Mondays too, judging by the amount of peeps shopping for the same items! ( I hope they give Daisyblue LOTS of freebies) Anyway, thanks to Daisyblue I’ve got a simply lovely dress from Frangipani, and also an utterly delectable pair of furry boots from Last Call.
Since I installed the ice-rink on my island I’ve been after the perfect ice skating outfit, or at least items that can be worn for such a task. In particular, I’ve been after something ‘dressy’ for parties. The Frangipani dress certainly fits the bill, but so do the stunning dresses I picked up, quite by chance, from ‘Truth’. These are the most simple and elegant dresses I have seen in a long time, and lend themselves to all sorts of occasions.
The truth is (Har har! Punny Kitty!) I had *never* been there until I saw it featured on ‘Fabulously Free in SL’, which along with Linden Lifestyles and all the other wonderblogs I have on my blogroll, you simply MUST NOT MISS. Cherlindrea Lamont does an amazing job and I absolutely had to have the outfit she chose on November 17th. (A gorgeous suit from ‘Tuli’ and hair from ‘Truth’) so that’s what led me to the ‘Truth’ store. And led to me spending a fair few linden in the process, on these dresses and also the rather brilliant Gypsy coat which I implore you to check out! I was especially impressed by the customer service offered by Truth Hawks. The hair I’m wearing is a group freebie that I was worried that I’d missed out on, and cheekily ( I was desperate!!) I IM’d her to see if I could have one, and she kindly obliged. Suffice to say I will be shopping there a LOT:) ( All Linden donations to the usual address please!)
