( Well, it’s actually chuffing Sunday afternoon now and I’m still in my PJ’s waiting for Jez to get out of the bathroom so we can go shopping. OH JOY.)

I had to share this message which I had in my Flickr mail this morning. As you know, I post lots of pictures-some of them fashion shots, the others just record my day-to-day exploits. I don’t really expect feedback, although it is always appreciated of course, but I was fortunate to get this e-mail this morning and it has made me feel all warm and glowy inside:) It’s from a lady called Katrina- thank you so much, you’ve made my day:)

hi kitty, just a quick note to thanks for being of great unknowing help to me just the now ! I just came across your flickr pics randomly the other day and you’ve sorta been my intro into SL ! Hearing about SL this last year or two has had me meaning to check it out for aaages but never got round to it. Thanks to following yr links and nosing into you and yr mates and I think I sorta get it now ! a bit. maybe, lol. Enough to wanna try myself anyhow. Am registering now and sorting directX gubbins and the like. Wish me luck, you make it seem fun kitty.

Dontcha just love Torley Linden? He sounds so jovial when presenting his tutorial videos and he really does make the information stick, which is a big thing for me, LOL. I’m not at all ‘techie’ and SL has been a slow learning curve for me-but I’m getting there! Anyway- I’m really excited about the new search features, and I think it will be a vast improvement. I love the way Torley sounds so excited about this new development, and pretty much makes it up as he goes along. Go to KPN and see my mate Sully ‘ I have legs up to my armpits’ Gomez. She makes all sorts of clothing and accessories. She also specialises in creating the most amazing jewellery-including crowns! Ever wanted to play ‘Queen Elizabeth’, well you’d need a crown, orb and sceptre and Sully has them all. Her latest addition are some simple black stilleto ‘F**K Me Boots’ and they’re a very reasonable L$80.
