Ibizarre Love Triangle

Ibizarre Love Triangle

Following on from my previous post, here’s me all dolled up in Ibizarre finery..and don’t I look swell? ( No- take your eyes off my norks…I’m talking about the clothes here) I’m so in love with this top I can’t describe it..it’s brutally simple yet it fits like a dream and looks so pretty with these leggings, which have a zip feature at the front, as well as a great texture. Personally, I think I look totally nommy in this, very classy and a style that works great for day or night in SL:)
( Yes, I know the title of this post is a tad lame..but it was all I could come up with!)

How Ibizarre!

How Ibizarre!

Perusing the feeds this morning I noted that Ibizarre has released a catalogue of their winter wares that is available for browsing on Issuu. Guys, it’s *mouthwatering*

I confess I haven’t been to Ibizarre for a very long time, but I decided to redress the balance by visiting, especially after I’d read the catalogue. The clothing is yummy; these leggings and this jacket are especially lovely, beautifully detailed and very reasonably priced…(L$180 for the leggings and L$220 for the jacket..OR you can buy a set for just L$350! BARGAIN!)

Tweedle Me Kitty

Tweedle Me Kitty

The word ‘Tweed’ always makes me think of a rather dodgy late 1970’s perfume that didn’t so much as smell of tweed, but actually smelled of cat-wee and old ladies…I can tell you that Sienia Trevellion’s latest ‘Lark’ release does not smell of cat wee, old-ladies, moth-balls or even damp wellies. It doesn’t smell of anything, but it looks rather posh. ‘Tweed’ comes with a belt, earrings, necklace and bracelet and it’s a very elegant affair. I had a few minor issues sizing the prim across the top of the bust line, but once accomplished I stood back, took a good look, and was pleased:) The tones of the outfit lend themselves to warm hues, so I’ve teamed ‘Tweed’ with the stunning new hair release by Truth,  ‘Lucinda’, in Cherry. It looks very well, don’t you agree? ( I think that has more to do with the style, than the fact it’s called ‘Lucinda’, which is obviously a posh totty name) The more I flounce about in this dress, the more I like it…it’s a very different texture choice to the norm, and it looks really good because of it. Of course, in real life you couldn’t possibly wear a frock like this made out of tweed, because after walking a few steps it would rub your nipples red-raw, so yet again Second Life lets us accomplish our fantasies with no need for plasters…(If you have a tweed-wearing fetish of course!) Actually, this frock would look perfect with a pair of green Hunter wellies and a Barbour jacket, don’t you think? Right, that’s it..I’m off to spend the day pretending to be a sloane ranger… Nice one Sienia!

Remember, Remember…

Remember, Remember…

..it’s the fifth of November, which means bonfires and fireworks and roast chestnuts and all kinds of associated madness. The fact that the UK still celebrates Bonfire Night is pretty amazing really, but I personally feel that has more to do with the enthusiasm of firework retailers than it has the British public’s need to see burning effigies of a chap who attempted to blow up the houses of Parliament and failed. Truth be told, a lot of people in the UK would probably welcome Guy Fawkes with open arms at the moment, judging by the reaction to the MP’s expenses scandal..but hey, that’s real life and there’s no place for that upon this blog.I wanted a look suitable for a Bonfire party and unable to resist I got myself one of those glorious ponchos from LeLutka that are so prevalent across the grid right now, but that’s probably because they are an exceptional quality product:) I’ve teamed it with hair by Magika that comes with a colour change hat..that I colour changed to match the outfit, obviously:) The leggings are from Elephant Outfitters, and the wellies are by UBU. Bonfire Night is always a drizzly occasion; it practically always rains, so you have to have sturdy pair of wellies, and UBU’s really take some beating. Finally the shape that I’m wearing is called ‘Sparkler’ and it’s a special edition available in my store at Malt.
Ok, stand well back…..
