Torley Dazzled!

Torley Dazzled!

Y’know, I’ve read some truly rotten stuff written about Torley over the months that I’ve been a resident in SL.  People wittering on about how he sold his soul to the devil when he converted into a Linden, blah blah blah. Utter nonsense if you ask me. The Lindens benefit immensely from having him on board, I think he’s a fantastic assett to the company. The main reason  I like Torley so much is because I adore the enthusiasm that he has for the platform that we use. Yes, SL can be a bugger sometimes but sheesh, it gets fixed eventually! Lag and getting kicked out are right pains in the butt and I’m the first to flap when that happens, but we live in an amazing creation and we should appreciate it for what it provides us with a heck of a lot more than we do.  Real life has it’s limitations just as much as Second Life does, and if SL is that much of an annoyance to you you can leave it.  Alas RL isn’t that simple!Anyway, I’ve detracted somewhat but Torely has written a fantastic piece on the official blog about the new Dazzle interface.  I knew bugger all about it until I saw Codie’s post on her Twitter, checked it out and found Torley’s post.  It looks pretty cool, and like he points out-aesthetics matter. A change is as good as a rest after all!

Read his post here and enjoy, it’s extremely eloquent and I think if he arrived on my doorstep and with the same magniloquence and tried to sell me a timeshare I’d bite his arm off straightaway!

Where would we be without FabFree?

Where would we be without FabFree?

We’d be buggered, let me tell ya! Because those girls have uncanny psychic-like abilities to find some utterly wonderful stuff from the farthest regions of the grid:) It’s such a great site for wardrobe mixing and matching. Ok, some of the ensembles may not be to your taste, but you have to check this site on a daily basis to see what latest beauties the girls have found.  I visit everyday.  I don’t always follow the leads, BUT occasionally I do and I find lovely things as a result.  Take this really pretty dress, it cost L$1 from ‘Sin & Secrets’. It’s called ‘Breeze’, and I’ve teamed it with ETD’s latest release ‘Davina’.  I’ve also accessorised it with the ‘Stitched Hear’ necklace from Gritty Kitty and the ripped tan stockings from Canimal. I think it looks great, very springlike, and I suggest you pop over to ‘Sin & Secrets’ and get yours now.

‘Fabfree is such a blessing-use it to your wardrobe’s advantage! Follow the link on the right now!

New look Kittywitchin!

New look Kittywitchin!

Morning Folks!

Welcome to the new look Kittywitchin:) I think it looks *much* better, fresher and a tad less cluttered than before.  What do you think? There are a few glitches that I need to sort out, but all in all I’m pretty happy with this fresh new look!

Nekorifik-It’s Kitty-tastik!

Nekorifik-It’s Kitty-tastik!

I *LOVE* presents, of course I do. I’m female. It’s inbuilt that we love getting gifts. Well, this morning Lawra Fredrickson made my Monday. She asked me to review a few items and I’m so glad I have, as not only are they super cute but also reasonably priced, superbly detailed and even if I say so myself, look HOT! Now I’ll be honest, and you prolly know this by now, in that I don’t ‘do’ flouncy bouncy skirty-wirty. *BUT* this dress is about as close as I’ll ever get and I’m so glad I’ve tried it because it looks bloody lovely. In fact, I’m really impressed with the movement of the skirt, as well as the wee details like the zipper at the back..I love attention to detail. The tie belt works extremely well too and has just the right amount of ‘looseness’ which works perfectly with the skirt’s flounce. As you can see, I’ve teamed it with the scarf from the ‘Film Noir’ set at Sn@tch and they were made for each other! Doesn’t it look pretty? If you check out my flickr you’ll see that I took a photo of myself spinning around in this to try and show you the movement, but go and check it out for yourself because the dress is a measley L$150. You can NEVER have enough LBD’s in your wardrobe, and I’m so chuffed to have been given the opportunity to wear this one!

Incidentally, Lawra has a great little store full of Neko-orientated wares. As well as clothing there are some groovy signs and some furniture items, so PLEASE go and have a nosey:) Lawra-it’s been a pleasure! Keep up the good work chuck!
