More stunners from TESLA

More stunners from TESLA

Sometimes all a girl needs are her shades and her shoes..and you can get some of the very best from TESLA. I’m so in love with that store at the moment that it’s embarrassing, but I care not a jot!though, when fashion is this good you have to get excited. These are the Solaris shades and yet again they are utter perfection. The heels are called Vinyl Vixens and I cannot think of a better name for them. the underside of each shoe is red, so they look stunning when you walk in them. Nuff said. Go to Tesla!  ( Apologies for quality of shot..shall upload a better one in a bit. Oh,and Jez says I’ve to air-brush my nips out of this shot as they are for his eyes only…)
Kitty gets an invite to the ‘Boudoir Rouge’

Kitty gets an invite to the ‘Boudoir Rouge’

Probably the biggest honour of my SL life so far happened last night.

I was lucky enough to be photographed by the genius that is Codebastard Redgrave…y’know, she of the fantastic boobage and arse ( nom nom nom Codie!)  I had a fantastic time, a great giggle and she is just the nicest, funniest gal you could ever wish to meet.

Anyways, I cannot believe I will be included with this veritable bunch of sex vixens, but I will be and I cannot wait! Woot!

SS Galaxy Ahoy!

SS Galaxy Ahoy!

I haven’t been to the SS Galaxy for a while, so whilst I was on the scrounge for a photo shoot I headed back for a nosey.  They have some lovely shops there and the ship is amazing, although a lot has changed since my last visit.  (I had a cabin there for a short while, it was great fun) After my spree was finished (and I had aquired a rather nice FREE Blaze gown) I went outside to wait for the ferry to Sagittaria.  This is something I’ve meant to do for a while.  Every ten minutes you can catch the ferry and it takes you to the nearby port for fun and frolics. I was a tad sceptical as I’ve been in SL boats before and not ‘moved’ with them, or been left stranded in the middle of the ocean..BUT this one actually works and it’s oodles of fun!  Get on the boat and you’ll  cruise alongside the liner, turn and then head for the port. It really isn’t that jerky, and even warns you when a sim crossing is about to take place. (The Galaxy crosses 3 sims!) When you finally arrive and disembark you’ll found yourself in a lovely welcome area which leads you out into Sagittaria itself. It’s an exceptionally pretty build (What do you expect from Bill Stirling?) and you can hire one of those dinky ‘Bispa’ scooters to zoom around on, or explore using the mono-rail.  Go and have a look, it’s rather grand…some of the houses are seriously droolworthy! Oopsy, forgot to mention, the Captain of the ferry is a penguin. ‘Nuff said.

The Crown & Pearl Charity Fundraiser-ONE MILLION LINDEN RAISED!

The Crown & Pearl Charity Fundraiser-ONE MILLION LINDEN RAISED!

Oh. My. God.

How amazing is this news? I just logged in before I go to RL work to get a message off Praddles stating that they’d achieved something amazingly special- they’ve raised L$1000000 for Cancer Research.

What can you say to that? All I can say is this- Thank You.  To everyone involved, who gave their time and effort to the fundraiser. To everyone who has donated their time and their lindens- you are all utter stars and deserve to have undirty bottoms for the rest of your days.

A lot of people have asked me how Deedee is, and truth be told she is a poorly bunny indeed.  It is a sad fact that 1 in 3 of us will be affected by Cancer-did you know that? Cancer is very scary and very unpleasant, but it CAN be treated and fundraising is crucial to finding a cure, or at least better treatments for it.  Chemo is horrible, so is Radiotherapy.  So is having a squillion needles shoved in you.  So is having no veins left for those squillions of needles.  Being sick, itchy, losing your hair and losing your strength are just a fraction of what sufferers have to go through.  It’s not easy watching your best friend struggle through all this, and more besides.  She has gone through so much.  I never imagined that I’d see Deedee in a hospital bed after brain surgery. I never imagined that I’d see her bald (but she has a perfectly shaped head!)

The same person who had consoled me and helped me through personal heartbreak, the same person who had got frequently drunk with me on girly nights out, the same person who would stay over after said girly nights out and sleep with her head at the bottom of my bed (Never understood why she did that, because all I would do is fart heartily in her direction.  Granted, her toes would be next to my nostrils but they are very nice toes:) I never imagined what she would have to endure. And she has endured so much.

Anyway, go to Dee’s blog to see it all from her perspective (Click here) but know this, you can make a difference to people’s lives by supporting charities like Cancer Research. No amount is ever too small, and it doesn’t even have to be money. It can be time or a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on..these are all just as valuable.  Not just for the sufferers, but for their family and friends as well.

Once again, to all who supported the fundraising in whatever capacity…thank you:)
