Xander and Ling are just (sorta) Kitty’s thing!

Xander and Ling are just (sorta) Kitty’s thing!

Got dropped a few new items by Pink Outfitters this weekend to take a look at..and I really do like them very much.

That said, to me they don’t work as an outfit together (although I’m not sure that’s the intention anyway) and there is an issue, albeit a slight one with the top.

But first of all let me tell you what I do like about the ‘Ling’ sheer jersey top. I love the colour options and the creasing. You know me, I’m a sucker for the creasing and it replicates a slightly draped jersey fabric look very well. BUT there are a few problems that could just be me being picky Kitty, but worth pointing out just the same.

The top is a one shoulder affair, and to me the part that goes over the shoulder is ever so slightly too wide..it doesn’t ‘sit’ comfortably on me, in fact it’s almost into my neck. It looks uncomfortable. I dunno about you but when I wear an item of clothing in SL I often go so far as to ‘imagine’ the fit and the feel, and alas, this one doesn’t look right. It would cut into my neck for sure. Sadly it’s also let down by some seriously fuzzy edge issues on the side of the shoulder strap too- there is a slight scalloping to the edges of the top, but on the front, just going over the shoulder it goes completely awry and looks pretty rough. It spoils the whole top, as the image below shows:

Solution? I don’t think you can effectively create draped, one-shoulder tops without prim attachments at the moment, so my advice would be to not bother..but make this a camisole and it would work beautifully..
What DOES work beautifully though are the Xander leggings. These are fabness, inspired by an item from Alexander Mcqueen’s collection. They look completely funky and work perfectly with short dresses, shorts and boots or just wearing on their own and being ever so slightly outrageous. London, the designer, states that these are hand drawn. Kudos then for such great pattern work and style. If you can create awesome leggings like these, then fixing the dodgy edging on the Ling top won’t be a problem at all. The ‘leggins’ ( as London refers to them) are available in black, white and pink and I think are a very worthwhile addition to your virtual wardrobe indeed. Stylish and funky, just what SL fashion is all about.

Little beauties!

Little beauties!

A bit spesh these two..I hope they make me some beautiful babies!!
Talking bunny business and it must be said that one of the most fun things about bunny ownership is kindling nests. It takes an hour, and it’s always tense in the last few moments of kindling. This is because although you know all the details about your bunny’s breed, eye colour, ear-style and shade, you don’t know whether it’s going to be a male or female. It’s a real case of rabbit pot luck, but not in the bunny boiling sense.  I always tend to adore the bunnies I kindle from the offset, but if you find yourself kindling nests and being over-run by one particular sex, then putting a bunny in an auction may be a good idea.

Myself, Altair and Mo held an auction just over a week ago and it was a roaring success. We had ten spots at the auction and sold every nest and live that was submitted and best of all it was so much fun! I even made some tips, with which I was utterly delighted with! The idea behind establishing the auction was that we’d be able to cater to the European and US bunny markets due to our actual physical locations in RL ( Both Altair and Mo are US based, whereas I am of course UK) With success ringing in our ears we started to work towards our next auction.
Alas, the tides were against us, because the owners of the sim upon which Mo and Altair reside decided that auctions were not allowed, despite their land being advertised as open to accomodating small business.  Therefore, plans for the auction house were put on hold as Ally and Mo scoured Second Life to find a suitable new base…

..and fortunately they’ve found a corker.  I think it’s fated actually; the place they are now renting upon is called ‘Alexandrite Island’ and when you consider that one of the gem eye colours of Ozimal bunnies is..well, take a guess..it couldn’t be more perfect could it?

I’m pleased to announce therefore that our SECOND (woot!) auction is going to take place upon Monday 16th August at 3pm SLT (that’s 11PM UK) As before it’s small but perfectly formed, with ten podiums (nine actually, I’m putting a few nests in myself) and you can place two nests or two lives per podium.  We’re charging a very small fee of L$10 per podium this time, refundable upon a no-sale. That said, don’t be thinking you’ll be getting it back as there aren’t going to be any no-sales, OK?

So, if you’re interested drop by the auction house in SL, OR contact myself, Mo Lyle or Altair Orellana for a submission form.

I promise you will have a great time, and we look forward to having you sell your bunnies with us!

The Bunny Amore Gift Box from Blessed Bunnies

Bunny bonding can drive you insane..seriously!

Since I got into this Ozimals bunny malarkey I’ve realised that producing nests isn’t as straightforward as you may think it is..it’s all well and good saying that they’re at 100% love but surely it’s not that clinical? Don’t bunnies need something to get into the mood?

Well, I think I have the answer. Y’see there’s a tried and tested formula for amour and it would appear that it works on a variety of species..bunnies included. What is this spell of which I speak?

It’s the Blessed Bunnies Bunny Amore Kit..featuring EVERYTHING your bunnies need to get nto the mood for some serious bunny bonding. And bonking.

You get:

A bottle of quality bunny wine- a corking vintage I’ll have you know!
A red rose for the lady bunny..she can sniff it/snack on it as is her want.
A carrot, in case the bunnies get peckish mid-coitus. Or in case they’re kinky..
A candle for romantic mood lighting. Again can be used for kinky bunny shenanigans..look out for suspicious burn marks the morning after!
Belgian chocolates, as recommended by ‘Swiss Tony’

And last but NOT least…

Albums by Mr Love himself..Barry White!!

How many babies have been conceived to the tunes of Barry White I wonder? Enough to populate a small South American country I’m sure! The man was, and remains, an utter musical legend. He created some of the most classic sounds of the 1970’s and 1980’s, crafting melodic pop perfection with the most seductive voice in the galaxy. Some of his songs were beyond seductive; downright erotic in fact, and others just so happy and loving that there is a Barry White song for absolutely everyone.

Including your bunnies. Believe it or not bunnies LOVE the soul and funk, and Barry oozes it out of every sweaty pore. They especially like ‘Let The Music Play’, ‘My First, My Last, My Everything’ and the amazing, best-intro in the world EVER ‘ I’m Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby’

So if the nests are slow to arrive, give this a shot.

Better still, it’s totally free as a token of my esteem to the Ozimals bunny community, and you can get one for yourself at my NEW STORE!
