Second Life induced tantrum ahoy!

Second Life induced tantrum ahoy!

I cannot, for the life of me, stay logged in today, and it is doing my nut in because I have some seriously nice items to share with you. ‘Tis somewhat frustrating.

Here’s a sneaky preview, this is the only picture I could take because a) my body was greyed out, and b) I borked soon after.

I’m now in a mood……GRRRRR!!!

As soon as I’m back in I’ll share with you the details on this lovely skin, super hairstyle and show you the rather lush outfit I was wearing too..until then I’ll kick my PC heartily.

Loving the ‘Cohen’ Jumpsuit from Cold Logic…

Loving the ‘Cohen’ Jumpsuit from Cold Logic…

…fits like a *dream*.  One of the problems with Mesh, as I’m sure readers are aware, is the faff of fitting.  All this rigged and unrigged nonsense and wearing alpha layers; does my nut in. But when results are *this* good it is so, so worth it. In fact I just slipped the medium size on and it fitted me perfectly, and I am in no way a skinny av! Doesn’t it look bloody fantastic? I can’t tell you how impressed I am with Cold Logic, in fact it’s going to become a favourite store of mine, I can just tell.  Prices are on the high side though, BUT I think with Mesh being relatively new still we’re bound to see that.  This jumpsuit is L$425. It comes with two belt colours (I’ve gone for the platinum styling here) and of course there’s a range of fits in the box. As always, DEMO DEMO DEMO. You have *no* excuse not to, and besides, it’s part of the fun:) I’ve teamed the jumpsuit with a Miel necklace I found during a rummage session, and some funky hair from Dura. I love this jumpsuit; I love everything about this store and it practically makes me damp with excitement (Too much info? I care not a jot!)

Note there’s a hunt in store at the moment ( in fact you can almost see the hunt item’s whereabouts in this picture; no it’s not on the board that’s too obvious..durrr) It’s also very busy..but that’s possibly because people can’t get into the Mesh expo that’s going on at the moment…oh yes, MOAR MESH!!!  Anyway, here’s your Taxi to Cold Logic, enjoy the ride!

Pixel Dolls Make Kitty Flutter!

Pixel Dolls Make Kitty Flutter!

PIXEL DOLLS  is one of those brands/stores that are synonymous with quality Second Life fashion.

It feels like they’ve been around forever; happy to be away from the spotlight yet still remaining at the very heart of virtual fashion.
They’ve just released a series of rather lovely tops, retailing at just L$99 each. They’re called ‘Flutter tops’, I guess owing to the gorgeous lacy sleeves, and they have unusual cut-away shaping on the shoulder area. Because of the cutaway shape of the sleeve there are some minor edging issues, but they don’t actually detract from the overall quality of the top. It’s beautifully colored, shaded and creased which is just what you’d expect from Pixel Dolls, and as you can see it’s easy to dress down or dress up as you wish. Versatile and rather lovely.

Uh-Oh..someone’s ripping Kitty off….

Uh-Oh..someone’s ripping Kitty off….

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, which it may well be, but NOT when someone is making money off your image, and you aren’t even credited for it!
I was doing a search upon X-Street today, using the key words ‘Litha’ when I stumbled across this

It’s supposedly an art print called ‘Learning Wicca’, and it costs L$20. It’s actually a picture lifted off THIS website, taken by me ages ago when I visited Robin Wood’s Wicca Learning Centre (You can see the original picture and the post here)

Whoever Emma Flagon is, she is selling this work without my permission. To be honest, I wouldn’t waste L$20 on it, it’s not even an especially good picture and if you want a copy you can have one from me, for free!  It would appear that Emma runs a gallery in one of my favourite regions, Witchfest. My picture is also on sale there, as well as countless other artworks.

This would indicate to me that Emma is of a Pagan persuasion, and if that’s the case then double shame on you Emma, for stealing someone elses work and passing it off as your own, and breaking the tenets of the Wiccan Rede…Incidentally she sells copies of the Wiccan Rede in her gallery, oh the irony of that.  To be honest, if she had approached me and told me that she would like to sell the picture and had offered me a cut of the takings I would probably have agreed to it, but to take and not even ask it just not on.

I am FUMING. Can you tell?
