Atomic cheer-me-up time…

Atomic cheer-me-up time…

So I’m still reeling from my massive inventory loss, and also the fact that Linden Lab Support haven’t yet had the common decency to get in touch with me…but more on that later.
A notecard dropped in my inventory earlier from ATOMIC, announcing new releases, and here we have them. This aubergine ‘Swooped Sweater Dress’ and these rather lovely tied ‘Ribbon Leggings’ are new releases in store, and of course come in an array of colours for your mix and match happy. Sweater dresses are ten a penny in-world ( not that I’m complaining, I love them) but what makes this one above average is the fact that the swooped-cowl neckline is resizeable for a perfect fit. I really like that, it’s just an extra from the designer to make you happier with your purchase and shows real thought..same for the leggings actually, they have the same resizer scripts built into the ribbon embellishment. Something else that really impresses me is there’s no lumpy prim hanging around my fanny area and spoiling the line of the dress, it fits *beautifully*. I’ve finished the look off with my UBU trainers ( thank god they didn’t walk from my inventory) and Magika hair in ‘Sinner’, which is probably my favourite bobbed style of 2009…and I do like a good bob..ho ho! My sad lil chops are smiling again because I got me some Atomic happy..I suggest that you do the same. Oh, and if you join the group(costs L$250 but well worth it) you get a special edition of this dress and leggings too..which is nice:)
Swooped Sweater Dress: L$150 ( Bloody bargain)
Ribbon Tied Leggings: L$100

Arm warmers ahoy!

Arm warmers ahoy!

I’m really becoming rather keen on ‘Concrete Flowers’, which is a fabulous, somewhat eclectic wee store that sells a wonderful array of clothing and oddments. It tends toward urban/grunge styling, but is not as in your face as other outlets which means you can mix and match their wares rather well with more mainstream brands.
I took a wander down there yesterday and was delighted by these amazing armwarmers that they sell in a great range of colours. Aren’t they neat? They look so warm and chunky and I could so imagine having these in real life..in fact, I yearn for some. I love the dangly bits on them too..they’re just such a great addition to any outfit and look extremely realistic. I’m also wearing a dollarbie that’s currently available in stoire too- this wee four leaf clover in a bottle is very sweet ( look-it has a ladybird on it!) and is designed to give you lots of luck..it’s well worth a linden. I hope it works, my inventory drama is still going on with no updates thus far. My inventory is determined that it only has 13, 333 items in it, which is all well and good, but it should have LOTS more than that and it’s all my good stuff that’s gone missing:(

Street Dermatology Freebie Skin

Street Dermatology Freebie Skin

We are being so utterly spoiled this Christmas, it’s almost overwhelming. The grid is teeming with advent calendars, hunts and random gifts from every kind of designer. I have absolutely no idea how the Fabfree gang keep up with it all to be honest! I strongly suggest you keep a beady eye on the feeds, because you’ll miss out on some wonderful treats otherwise. For example, had I not been reading Fashion Feed Of SL this morning I would have missed out on discovering this utterly sumptuous skin from a creator I had never encountered before, “Street Dermatology” It’s a group gift, so you’ll need to join, but *wow*, it’s totally worth it. There seems to be a load of green eyeshadow themed skins around, and I for one am very happy with that..it’s good to have some festive colour.
What I love about this skin is the eyeliner, it’s *perfect*. Can you see the inner corner of the eye? Doesn’t it look swish..ooh I do love me a bit of eyeliner on a skin, . Plus I adore the juxtaposition with the glossy, gold lip. It’s a stunning skin for a freebie, and if this is the kind of quality that Street Dermatology distribute on a regular basis, then it tells you that their full price skins are definitely worth checking out; I know that I will be in future! Incidentally, the shape worn in this picture is my Festive shape, and I think it works beautifully with this skin:)

The Kitty Cat’s Pyjamas!

The Kitty Cat’s Pyjamas!

WOE have just launched some utterly fabbo jimmy-jams. In RL, I’d live in my PJ’s if I could..I even popped to Tesco’s in them once ( It was the middle of the night and I was full of cold. I never thought anyone I knew would see me..well, you can guess the rest!) They come in a range of colours, and are available to fit both the fellas and the foxes:) They’re called ‘Kylei’, and in this photo I’m wearing the Maroon styling. The pants are accompanied by this very well crafted top, which is semi-transparent. The creasing on the top is excellent and very realistic indeed. If you look at the back of the top there’s a teeny tiny WOE logo hiding on there, and there are prim cuffs as well as dangly elasticated cords on the front. These are great fun to wear and I’m planning on finishing the rest of the ‘Down The Chimney Hunt’ in them! Speaking of which, I’m wearing an item from the hunt in this picture. It’s hunt gift 51, and it’s this rather smashing messy christmas hairstyle called ‘Notty & Nice’ .

Make sure you participate in the hunt, because there are some ridiculously amazing items available, and Fab Free is going to be previewing the wares over the next couple of days. Whisper has already been busy and published part 1 of a feature showcasing the clothing! Anyway, Christmas PJ’s sorted…and I think these would make a great xmas gift in world! Why not pop over to WOE and see what you think?
