It’s quite interesting to see how our avatars look stripped back; I’ve not seen Kitty like this for absolutely years so it’s a surprise, but a nice one!

TIME FOR ANOTHER JOLLY GOOD READ

A few weeks ago I blogged some cracking reads for you all.  Well, it’s a cold weekend in November, so if you ask me it’s time to settle down again for a nice relaxing read, although to be honest, the first read will probably have you hot under the collar! I’m talking about the latest edition of L’HOMME MAGAZINE To be honest this HAS to be one of the best Second Life magazines out there; every page is just utterly sumptuous and the styling, editing and photography are second to none. It makes no difference if you aren’t a male avatar either, or have no association with one, just open the magazine and enjoy every single frame. It is absolutely delicious. (Also, page 20,  Hikaru Enimo, that’s all I’m saying..OOF!) Tuck a bib into your collar, this is indeed a droolworthy read!

Hope you have a cup of tea and a pile of digestives to enjoy as you flick through the pages of the latest edition of THE BEST OF SECOND LIFE MAGAZINE. As usual it’s choc-full of fabulous articles and images, with a great feature this month about SL Media, including SL Live Radio (which I knew nothing about until I started reading, and now I’m happily listening to the stream in real life as I dunk biscuits and flick pages!). Just like L’HOMME you’ll find some stunning imagery too, none more so than on pages 50-61, where there’s a feature article about nudity in-world. Last but not least I really love the interiors article from Arya Braveheart which features a beautiful rural English abode.  It reminded me of some houses close-by to where I live in RL (but alas, could never afford! The joys of the virtual world eh?) (In case you were wondering, I did try to embed BOSL on this page but it didn’t want to play nice, so just follow the link instead to enjoy:)

Leggings.
They are CHUFFING amazing things. Chuck them on with a jumper and a pair of boots and you’re good to go; no hassle or fuss, just instant lycra-fuelled chic.
Even better than that, patterned leggings WITH skirts, shorts and dare I say it, ripped jeans? Yipe!
And even better than THAT?
NAR MATTARU’s latest fashion collection which features a veritable smorgasbord of leggings happy. They’re called ‘Monochrome Leggings’, and will be featuring in the upcoming SUICIDE DOLLS ANNIVERSARY ROUND, available from November 30th.
Poor Jade must be suffering an huge case of applier-madness though, because she’s been a busy lass making appliers for these leggings for practically ALL THE THINGS.

They come with system pants, underpants and tattoo layer, a sock layer for the longer version, and appliers for Slink Physique, Belleza Venus, WowMeh, Cute/Phat Azz, and The Mesh Project! <PHEW>

As you can see in my first image,  I dressed them down with a simple jumper/tee combo from MILK MOTION, but in my second snap I’ve added this stunning crop top from NYLON OUTFITTERS@C88, some fantastic shorts from  and last but not least, this rather glorious new hair from LITTLE BONES called ‘Delusion’, available at No.21. I think I look chuffing gorgeous.

The event doesn’t start until a week tomorrow, BUT keep an eye on the official SUICIDE DOLLZ Facebook page for more details about the forthcoming anniversary, and go and grab these epic leggings when it opens!

KITTY QUICKY: 1602 posts, and still going strong!

Just a quick humble-brag on my part, but I had to share that this is post number 1602 on the blog. I’ve never consistently kept a diary, something I’ve always wanted to do, yet I’ve managed to keep this blog going since 2007. YIKES!
There have been a few breaks along the way, but I’ve always come back, because I love it.
I adore my Second Life, and I really hope that this blog reflects that. This week I’ve been honoured to be accepted as part of the amazing SL BLOGGER SUPPORT crew, and if you’d like to read my first post for them you’ll find it here.  I thank everyone who has ever dropped by my blog and read any of my 1602 posts that I’ve written over the years. How time flies huh?
