I may have just stumbled across the bargain of the century, especially if you are Neko inclined..in fact this is pretty major, because the quality and amount of wonderfulness included in this package is just stunning for the dosh. See the outfit? See the ears? The tail? The cherries? ( I’m only wearing a fraction of it as well) Guess how much?!
FIFTY LINDENS FOR THE LOT.
Bloody bargain of gargantuan proportions if you ask me. The outfit is from XstreetSL, from a creator called ‘ K&L’
Never heard of them before BUT I certainly will be keeing an eye out for them now!
First of all what impresses me most of all about this outfit is the cut off shirt..the texture, transparency and the wrinkling upon this shirt is some of the best I have EVER seen.

It’s bloody ace, seriously! The pants are cracking too;again transparent and well, don’t they look fab? I love the bangles (which in my opinion you can never have enough of) and the stockings and..well, this is what you get:

If you do Neko, or are just starting out YOU MUST buy this. Even if you don’t do Neko YOU MUST buy this ( just don’t bother with the ears and tail)

In honour of the splendidness of this generous booty I’m remaining in Neko guise all weekend, and if you’re curious I’m also wearing some NEW hair from Magika that is rather beautiful dontcha think? (The skin is by Redgrave, and the shape is coming soon from me, obviously:) Why are you still reading this? BUGGER OFF AND BUY THIS OUTFIT!

Best shopping district I said..that’ll be a good idea for an award. After all, we all know there are thousands of malls across the grid, some good, some bad and some are so utterly terrible it makes you wonder who shops there…oh come on, be honest- you’ve so been to places like that..and it’ll be really easy to sort out the wheat from the chaff! WRONG!! This has been so tough to judge and that’s been my own fault entirely because I decided to award the prize for the place with the best ambiance, the best range of shops and the best landscaping/build. Each entrant more than fulfills the criteria, but the problem is, they’re all so different that it’s hard to compare them although each of these amazing places serves it’s target audience extremely well.  

Put simply I have no problem saying for your next shopping excursion you have to try these; problem is, which one is the best? Crush Row is more compact than the others but looks great and allows for easy access to each store. The Starlust Motel on the other hand is crackers, in fact the whole area is just so imaginative and so quirky that it’s less about the shopping and completely about the experience;the shopping is almost secondary to the actual experience of exploring the place.

The winner however combines all of these elements to great success. It’s easy to shop around, yet looks fresh and funky and has an originality all of it’s own with an exciting array of stores to behold and activities and freebies galore Aimed mainly at the Neko market, there’s lots to be found here so don’t be put off assuming it’ll be all kitty-cat related merchandise, it’s not:)

I’m a proud and happy shopper of each of these locations, but my absolute favorite has to be ‘The Pounded Flounder’. Congratulations Lawra and co, and keep up the great work!

(I would have thought of a better title for this blog entry, but alas it’s late,I’m a tad pickled and well, I just can’t be bothered on a Tuesday much, know what I mean? Let’s face it, Tuesdays are LOTS worse than Mondays…ahem.)

Mooching around the various Second Life blogs I spotted an entry from ‘Virtual Neko’ which sent me scurrying like a kitten demented ( here’s a visual for you: a cat that’s just stuck it’s bottom on a warm wall in Summer, only it was a bit *too* hot. With me? Good) over to the store that she was blogging about. Useless Kitty that I am, for some reason ‘Atomic Kitty’ has never bipped on my radar before, but I hope I’ve made up for my ignoarance in that respect. It will surely be at the top of my Neko listings in future..because it is KITTYLICIOUS! I don’t stick my cat ears, tail and whiskers on very often, I have to be in the mood for it, but this is a store that would certainly appeal to those who live a constant kitty-cat lifestyle. Aimed squarely at the Neko culture, this store sells items that will basically make you look like the cat’s whiskers (Get used to the puns guys-I’ve been drinking again and that always helps) and then some! We’re talking fashion, furnishings, skins shapes and my favourite item from the store-EYES. Now, I only usually ever wear eyes by Miriel Enfield, because they are puurrfeeccct for me (snigger) *BUT* I think I’ve just fallen in love with the delicious range that Atomic Kitty has to offer. The best part about this is ‘Virtual Neko’ blogged a sale of GARGANTUAN proportions that means half-price store cards and goodies galore (I would tell you about this in detail but seeing as Virtual Neko blogged about it in far more detail and in a much more professional way I think that it’s only fair you visit her blog for the links and details)I dunno if it was the Chardonnay but I seemed to stumble around the store a tad and ended up buying a skin which is very lovely BUT alas the wrong-pigging one..sigh. Don’t drink AND Second Life is the motto here y’all..ahem. Anyway, you need to tip-toe in a cat-like fashion over to Atomic Kitty. If you do Neko in any way shape or form you’re missing a treat if you don’t check it out, and even if you don’t do the Neko I’d still suggest a visit, because a lot of the sublime wares available will appeal to grungey/rocky/cyber and emo types as well. See, something for everything! Versatile, me…(hic!)..Note to Kitty..don’t blog when inebri-inibr-inabri-pissed…hence the slightly blurry effect on the picture above.  But just look at those eyes..divine huh? They’re called ‘Silver’ and cost L$100 for a pack of THREE ( dark, medium and light) and contacts too.  In other words, a virtual-smeggin’-bargain, make no mistake! Trying an ‘alternative’ lifestyle in SL can be a tad pricey should you decide that after all your investment pretending to be a wolf or a squirrel isn’t actually for you. Take Neko for example – there are some utterly stunning skins and various cat like appendages out there to be make you completely feline fantastic, but they come at a price, and if you decide that it isn’t your scene then you’ll be sorely out of pocket. I dabble with Neko occasionally if I’m in the mood, but I’m far from hardcore. However I do own a few pairs of scripted ears and tails in different colours that were quite expensive, so imagine my utter delight when I found these superb freebies by Kosh up for grabs on SLX. To make them even better than your average ear and tail sets they come scripted *and* fitted with piercings too! Utterly splendid and well worth trying..plus they’re black so they go with everything. I really rate these, and I had a look around the Kosh mainstore and was quite impressed by what I saw..defo worth checking out if you’re into grunge and metal shenanigans.
