Anubis_003More MBA BI-MONTHLY goodies to share gang.  First up, check out this bloody lovely skin from WOW SKINS.  To be honest, I don’t tend to wear many skins other than my beloved AMARA BEAUTY ones these days so it has to be something very special to make me want to change.

This WOW SKIN is definitely worth my time though; it’s called ‘Mimi’ and I’m wearing her in tan.  The CATWA applier that I’m sporting is simply sublime; a gorgeous, lustrous lip and slim arched brow offer  great  facial definition, and the tone is evenly and expertly applied across my Maitreya bod.  The applier HUD is neat and offers three brow shades along with a no brow option, and there are five eye makeup options included too.  I’m incredibly taken with it, as I’m sure you can tell!unseemly_003Moving on to my outfit and I’m absolutely loving this ABSOLUT VENDETTA ‘Liloo’ Yoga Top. This is an easy to wear wardrobe essential; add jeans or a skirt and it will look great however you style it. It’s shaped really well and I love the ribbon tie at the back; it’s very nicely modelled and looks realistic. The top is actually three parts: the main body, then there are the bra straps and the centre of the bra – these can all be coloured separately and you can wear without the bra should you so wish.  against the thigh. I’ve had a lot of fun testing out colour options on this, but I’ve opted for the orange because it always looks so effective against denim blue, and that’s the colour of the shorts I’ve dressed it with.  These shorts are from  SORBET.  These are pretty simple fayre, and denim shorts are ten-a-penny in SECOND LIFE but these stand out because of the graceful scalloped edge that sits neatly against the thigh.  I’ve added some of my favourite accessories to create a lovely look for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

In this post, you can see me wearing my new favourite trousers. Now, I very rarely wear trousers in-world, probably because I live in them in real-life, BUT I think that’s about to change because of these amazing ‘Shinoda’ khakis! They’re from the very well regarded in-world brand, VINYL, and you’ll find them at the MESH BODY ADDICTS BI-MONTHLY. I’ll tell you why I like them so much; for a start, the way that they’ve been ‘cut’ and shaped makes them look excellent. Creases in all the right places along with just the right amount of ‘slouch’ make for a realistic looking pant. I mean, just look at them, can’t you imagine lounging around in these, or grabbing your car keys and going out to shop in them? I know I can.  I want them in real life!Snapshot_003 They’re also available in an absolute plethora of colours too, and  I’ve no doubt you’ll see me wearing the majority of those a lot in-world, and on these pages. It’s not very often that I recommend fat-packing something (because it’s not often that I do that myself) but I genuinely recommend that you do that with these ‘Shinoda’ khakis because I guarantee they’ll go with anything and everything in your wardrobe! Hurray for my new favourite pants!Snapshot_002I’m wearing mine with a subtly-sexy vest and bra combo from VALENTINA E, along with some great flats that I acquired earlier today from KUSTOM 9 via the MOMENTO gacha machine. To finish I’ve opted for long and luscious locks, courtesy of this fabulous SPELLBOUND release from WHORE COUTURE FAIR 5. SPELLBOUND really are a magical (excuse the pun!) hair brand, and this style is no exception. I’m absolutely loving the waves that tumble over the front of the right shoulder, and the subtle plaits that tidy the hair to each side. It’s a very easy to wear style and works incredibly well with my CATWA ‘Gwen’ Mesh head without too many worries about fitting (the style is rigged) BUT in my opinion, you do need to wear a hair base with this style for best effect, so I am! My accessories are simple, a pair of tortoiseshell glasses from ISON and a necklace from YUMMY and I’m all set for a Kitty adventure with Jez in his new pad this weekend, how exciting! Look, I’ve packed a suitcase and everything! Say “Hello” to my new favourite party frock! Actually, what you should say is a big fat “Hello lover”, because this is a bit of a treat.  Maxi-dresses are a lot easier to wear in-world than they are in real life (for me at least) and this is one that has LOTS to offer. Bloody hell, it’s scrumptious. Sometimes I put things on in-world and straightaway I’m absolutely transfixed; this is one of those items and I’ll probably be wearing it and sleeping in it all week until Jez stages an intervention!

This dress is by CYNFUL for the MESH BODY ADDICTS BI-MONTHLY, and as you would expect from such an esteemed and well-established  brand, it’s outstanding.  The chevron print is bang on-trend, and the solid coloured bodice area covers just the right amount of flesh to allow for finishing touches, like statement necklaces or wraps, that kinda thing. I’m wearing it on my MAITREYA LARA body, and as you can see it fits wonderfully.  The detail is good too; if you look at the main picture on the left and you’ll see hints of creasing above the line of the skirt and it’s been done very well.  You know how much I love my creases to add a hint of realism to an outfit, especially when the fabric is obviously quite silky. The long, slim fit of this dress makes for an incredibly elegant silhouette and it looks especially good with an up-do.

It’s posh, but can also be dressed down, especially for the forthcoming summer. Go for a lighter colour choice, add beads and bangles and voila, perfect festival attire! Here’s another look using the same dress, but different hair and makeup:

Sunday Stylin’ -Favourite shirt!

sunday styling_001A kitty quickie* for you today! ADDAMS have released some absolutely STONKING shirts at their mainstore in a variety of plain and tartan/check textures. they look blinking outstanding (as do most things for ADDAMS) and fit incredibly well.

The shirt caters to most currently available body types, and  I especially appreciate the fact that in each pack comes a fitmesh option that allows for your wearing a skirt! There’s a bra included (that you can toggle on or off) and this has options via a HUD.  I quite liked some of the pattern choices but was a bit disappointed that the bra has white seams; this means that some of the pattern choices don’t quite work as well as they should, in my opinion: for example, the leopard print would look far better with black edging than white,  but all things considered that’s a minor gripe for an incredibly well-made piece that is set to be a really popular item in SECOND LIFE.  I wasn’t surprised that the shop was crowded when I dropped by to buy one!

I chose to wear my shirt with a favourite BUENO denim number and my REIGN thigh-high sneaks. I also added a REIGN tattoo choker and my treasured YUMMY necklace to complete the look.  My hairstyle is an absolute find, and is by MINA for THE GACHA GARDEN. Isn’t it beautiful? I was the luckiest I have ever been with a gacha machine; dropping the fatpack on my first attempt! To finish I added some ADDAMS ‘Cat Glasses’ (of course!) and some attitude for a look that’s casual but bang on trend, and perfect for chilling out at home on a Sunday.  Hope you approve – now go get that shirt!
